This Sacrifice storyline really makes me wish I was reading comics again.

I can't bring myself to read the AICN Comic articles yet, cause I miss my old titles. I just don't have the time or money to get back into comics again. Sigh...

In 1985, right after college, I spent a year living with my parents. I was working full time while paying very little for my room and board. For a while I was buying close to 100 comics a month, and back then that was a good bit more than half of what was published.

The next year I moved to another state, had a truly crap job, and paid a lot more for my keep. No more 100 comics a month. Today I limit myself to no more than $100 a month, and try for more like $60, apart from books and the occasional figure. It makes it very tough when something great comes along and I have to chose between it and something established that I like.

Sometimes I thank god for delays. With "Liberty Meadows" out of circulation, that few bucks can go towards "Desolation Jones."
