Not bad at all. Seems to strike a good tone for "Runaways."

Which villains do the kids belong to exactly - or are their parents unknowns?
Runaways #21 - Fairly solid outing. I hold Vaughan to such a high standard that it is almost unfair. This issue (and this arc for that matter) certainly hasn't been bad but it just hasn't been up to par really. I can see why this team decided to leave...they sort of seem like they have run out of steam a bit...a fresh creative team will certainly shake things up and perhaps Vaughan will be able to return sometime down the road after his batteries have recharged. I didn't like the little Civil War references either. I would prefer it if this book stood in its own timeline...let the Runaways/Young Avengers cross-over handle the Civil War stuff.

HOLY SHIT!
Just read #23. I cannot believe Vaughn and Alphona are going out this way, yet it excites me SO goddamn much. I love, love, love Chase Stein, and I want to see his plan succeed. Fucking great writing, with all the dramatic levels getting turned waaaaay up.
Beautiful, beautiful stuff.

Fucking LOVE this book...

I hope this one doesn't tear my heart out like losing Gert.

It's fucking brilliant. I was worried Whedon was gonna 'Whedon it' too much, but what I read was great.
It was only a one page backstory for the gang and the start of a meal in a New York Restaurant, but I was grinning ear to ear after I finished reading. We all love Molly now? We're gonna love her a lot more soon, stellar dialogue.
I've been checking out New Excalibur in the comic store since I found out Michael Ryan was taking over from Alphona and the art is pretty good, but fuck me, he has totally raised his game for Runaways, the pages look great and the characters are perfect - 25 can't come quick enough now.......
