Don't say Punky Brewster; havoc will want to discuss Soleil Moon Frye's breast reduction.

I love this thread...and I rediscovered the Comics Curmudgeon site I posted!
Which in turn led me to this--Slylock Fox as written by Frank Miller, though it's sadly lacking the profanity.

Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield
comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolar
disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon
Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured
mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against
loneliness in a quiet American suburb.

Garfield Minus Garfield

I laughed at quite a few of these.

It took a minute to get rolling, but after the first few I almost spit coffee out of my nose.
