The most unintentionally funny line in a comic this week...

Postby Luke Cage on Mon Feb 26, 2007 3:29 pm

Yo, brothas and sistahs, the headline says it all.
I'm not a thread-opener-type o' brotha, but this time my fingers jus' couldn't stop typing and in lieu of the Oscar's, I thought it would be a nice idea. Catch my drift?

And the award for the most unintentionally funny line in a comic this week goes to....

ED BRUBAKER & MATT FRACTION FOR THE IMMORTAL IRON FIST #3!!!!

Why?
Just check out this sample quote of Danny Rand's thoughts:

"Somehow, someone touched my Chi...and I could feel THEIRS, too...

....vibrating through me.

So I concentrate, and focus my energy on following those ripples and vibrations
."

Sweet Christmas, Danny. This gives new meaning to your nom de guerre, brotha !

What kind of a name is Matt Fraction? Is he related to Bill Quotient? Or Pete Cosine?

Anyway, I didn't laugh.

Funny new persona, but is there actually a new Zoner behind it? One never knows these days.

Sorry Luke, ONeill doesn't speak jive. He thought for a second you were a Zoner called 'Cpt Kirks 2 Pay' because Kirk is a latent homosexual and ONeill thought he read some of those overtones in your post. But ONeill reads that into everyone's posts.

Hehe, "posts".

I'm just more of a reader than a poster that's why I've kept a pretty low profile. Know what I mean, jellybean?

So, um... do you ever actually think about what you are going to post before you actually post it?
