I haves t'admit, however unsatisfying these almost-annual miniseries Marvel's been doing lately (Avengers Disassembled, House of M, Civil War, World War Hulk) may be, the art is always gorgeous. I don't know if that's enough to commend the series as a whole, but people who read them without knowing they're supposed to be big deals would probably be blown away.
I think I'm jaded by this point, but I remember a panel in House of M #3 where Wolverine jumps off a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier that fucking floored me.
