So, is it any good? Still need to pick up volume 1.

So did anybody read issue 3 yet?

I wasn't really sold on the last issue, but I really liked this one. Hulk still kicks the crap out of some more superpowered dudes, but it was a pretty solid story, and there were some interesting plot twists in there.

SPOILERS: I know he used a different name, but at the end, was the spirit that inhabited Strange Dormammu, or did he just look vaguely like him?

Didn't he refer to whatever inhabited him by name earlier in the comic?

Yeah he did, but I was wondering if it was just a case of different names for the same thing. It's probably not, but I'd never heard the other name before, so if we were supposed to infer any significance beyond what it obviously did, it was lost on me.

Err... well...

Good call. They are indeed different people.

Yeah I would have checked myself, but I am at work and couldn't even remember the name.

Well, ZOM is about to have his inter-dimensional asses kicked in by Green Scar, and I for one can't wait to see it.

This whole storyline has taken a turn that kind of leaves me melancholy. I mean I am enjoying everything, but this... ZOM. He reminds me of someone I miss alot.

Yeah.

ROM.

I want to see the Hulk smash everything, even ROM; just don’t touch his nips. The lit-nips belong to me; Hulk, my king, the rest is yours.

I love this series, I am telling ya! Bustin up Strange's hands...and then Cape McSpellcaster has to go runnin' off to his super pimp for some help...HA!

HA! I say.

Hell yes.

Go get Planet Hulk and read it first however. If you don't, you will not have a clear vision on the WWHulk stuff; he could come across like a villain, which in my mind he is certainly not; right now he is serving up some 'you brought it on yourself' soup to the entire planet of 'heroes'.

It's perfection.

Man is he Sentry the lamest "hero" ever created or what? How many times are we going to cut him him sitting in costume in his suburban living room watching TV in FULL COSTUME. Fucking fruitcake.

And I wonder if this takes place before or after Ultronette axe murdered his bitchy wife?

Thats kinda the point. Sentry is probably the only guy who can stop Hulk, but

A) He's nuts and has the mental compasity of a fucking 12 year old sometimes

B) Dosnt want to fight Hulk because he considers Hulk a good friend.

BTW. just finally caught up with WWH, Im very loving this series. I love watching Hulk "HULK OUT" on everyone.

His fight with Thing had me creaming and the page with Hulk and Thunderbolt Ross falling and Ross blasting Hulk was just a work of art!

I haves t'admit, however unsatisfying these almost-annual miniseries Marvel's been doing lately (Avengers Disassembled, House of M, Civil War, World War Hulk) may ultimately be, the art is always gorgeous. I don't know if that's enough to commend the series as a whole, but people who read them without knowing they're supposed to be big deals would probably be blown away.

I think I'm jaded by this point, but I remember a panel in House of M #3 where Wolverine jumps off a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier that fucking floored me.

I know what you mean... It seems that marvel keeps the best artist for just the fucking mini series, and leaves the more SO SO art for the regular series.
