The main site has a quote from Mars creater Rob Thomas:

And the trend continues....

What will be the next canceled tv show to be revived in comic form? (Besides Hey, Landlord!)

I would be surprised if an attempt wasn't made for Carnivale. I mean the creator did write Iron Man and the show is already tailor made for comics.

I think Carnivale is a perfect candidate to make the transition. The creator had a specific plan for the show and he had a time frame of when that was going to take place. I would LOVE for Carnivale to make the transition. I, personally, love this trend. As long as the talent behind the show has a say in the matter...the TV comics have turned out fine.

If my pull list consisted of V Mars S04, Carnivale, Firefly S02, Buffy S08, Angel, S06...etc I would be one happy camper.

Now...I love V.Mars....with a passion.

He isn't the best actor in the world by V.Mars suits every person in their role.

I don't think the comic would work quite so well. I can't see the quirks of Keith or Ronnie coming through as much as the series.

Although, anything to keep to series alive. It deserves it.

Well, that is up to the writer and the artist. Basically, that is the challenge. This was my biggest fear with the Buffy S08 comic, but I believe that the quirks and individual voices of the characters have come across extremely well. That is all due to the talent behind the comic. I think it is entirely possible to get those things correct in a comic, but it doesn't always happen.
