If you all haven't taken a look at this over at BlueTights.Net, YOU HAVE TO SEE IT ASAP!!

Check out some really cool stuff on Bryan's previs process and THEN...

...take a look at that shot toward the end of Routh on greenscreen "flying" up and TELL ME THAT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE FUCKING SUPERMAN!!!

First time I saw him in the costume, it looked like a kid dressing up for a Halloween party. THIS LOOKS LIKE SUPERMAN.

I read the script. It's quite good. IT READS LIKE SUPERMAN.

I'm starting to believe again that a man can fly.

Way psyched...

Saw that this morning. That last shot of Routh is pretty great, and the anamatics they've shown should lead to some fun sequences.
I was pretty cold toward Superman Returns at first, but it's slowly starting to turn me on.

Not like that!

...or is it?

Routh still looks kind of skinny. Other than that, I'm liking what I see.

I am excited about this. Seeing all these people geek out over making Superman fly warms my cockles.

Could this be the first Superman topic not to degenerate into 'Dumbledore vs. straight' ranting? I like the fact that they're putting alot of thought into the little things, paying attention to how he controls himself in flight, ala bodysurfing, but I dunno. Routh still seems like a lightweight to me, in more ways than one. I hope to teh Jeebus that I'm proven wrong, but the more I see of this guy, the stronger that feeling gets in the back of my head.

And Whedon, can you answer me one question without giving too much away? Is Lex the only villain in the movie or not? Rumors at the begining were Metallo, but I think those were debunked long ago.

And, if it's not too spoilerish, could you please confirm Richard White's relationship to Perry? I believe they've said they aren't father and son.

Adam Balm, Lex is indeed the only villain in the movie.

And The Garbage Man, Richard is indeed Perry's son.
