Just DLd the trailer for Step Brothers...a lot of people are probably sick to death with Ferrell, but J.C. Reilly and Farrell teamed-up is a fucking comedy carpet-bombing. IMO, this looks funny as hell. Particularly the bunk-bed scene.

Don't know if it has been posted, so here ya go.

Just seen this...

The Love Guru

Looks like a typical Myers production with loads of silly joke but at the same time I find Myers very watchable.

Chapter 27 also looks brilliant. I can't believe how much weight Jared Leto put on for this film. It looks like he's going to put in an amazing performance too. I like the editing to the trailer.

The Rocker trailer here, Dwight Schrute (aka Rainn Wilson, from The Office) has this very stuck in the 80s looking comedy coming soon. Its about a high school band that needs a drummer - enter uncle Schrute stage left.

On a scale of 1 to 10: I'd say this is mildly funny :?

Enjoy

I was kind of disappointed by the trailer. I had really high expectations because of Rainn Wilson's excellent work on the office. It still looks ok. Will Arnett is in it, always a plus.

And I thought the spirit trailer looked like shit. The poster of him standing on the "MY CITY SCREAMS" text is cool though.

Bigger, Stronger, Faster

Postby TheButcher on Fri May 30, 2008 7:03 pm

Bigger, Stronger, Faster:
http://www.movieweb.com/video/V08E67bjwHJORY
In America, we define ourselves in the superlative: we are the biggest, strongest, fastest country in the world. We reward speed, size and above all else: winning - at sport, at business and at war. Metaphorically we are a nation on steroids. Is it any wonder that so many of our heroes are on performance enhancing drugs?

From the producers of Bowling For Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11 comes a new film that unflinchingly explores our win-at-all-cost culture through the lens of a personal journey. Blending comedy and pathos, BIGGER, STRONGER, FASTER* is a collision of pop culture, animated sequences and first-person narrative, with a diverse cast including US Congressmen, professional athletes, medical experts and everyday gym rats.

At its heart, this is the story of director Christopher Bell and his two brothers, who grew up idolizing muscular giants like Hulk Hogan, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and who went on to become members of the steroid-subculture in an effort to realize their American dream. When you discover that your heroes have all broken the rules, do you follow the rules, or do you follow your heroes?

Sorry...another that looks very interesting. I wasn´t holding out much hope by the resumé they supplied but it could be quite good.

The trailer would have better without the Hip hop sound track though.
Very similar in style to Run Lola Run-

It will be up to Mr. Costner to decide that. Only he has the golden touch to bring such a genre splitting masterpiece to blockbuster success.

Well this is just typical, you wait for one post apocalyptic baseball movie and then four come along at once...

My script 'The four scheinblum's of the apocalypse' where four Richie Scheinblum's (Cleveland Indians - 1964) travel forward in time to a post apocalyptic Cleveland (2038) to teach the plebites and no doubt unwashed survivors of the future that baseball is the way to forget about their post apocalytic troubles... namely starvation and disease... Whilst all the while riding four identical horses named steve... hilarity ensues...

I am thinking of Martin Lawrence as all of the leads, survivors, horses and his contractually obliged very studly person (suit) role of which i have as yet no character assigned...

I have been banding the idea around quite a lot recently... and as you may have guessed... there is much Buzz...

It has to have Rob Schneider in it...and it´s sold.

I'm not sure if he would really fit any of the roles... Although there is character named 'Disgruntled hick #1' that is the best friend of the main character and turns up at inoppurtune moments to make wise cracks and swear. I have written in my notes that he should have a terrible foreign accent and at some stage walk around with his ass out... so maybe...

My post apocalyptic movie is actually a mockumentary about filming a post apocalyptic baseball movie and all the prat falls that entail pleasing Kevin Costner in order for him to star in a post apocalyptic baseball movie. Kevin Costner gets horribly scarred half way through the film and he is replaced by a hobo with an eye patch.

My post-apocalyptic baseball movie has all those things...
Plus it has 2 roles for Rob Schneider (twin brother and sister roles) as well as specifically written roles for Charlie Sheen, Wesley Snipes, Tom Berenger, Corbin Bernsen and Billy Zane (as himself...apparently he has a bit of cockroach blood in him...he'll live forever...)

So there!
