The trailer is mostly pushing the villain, which generally works better when marketing sequels because people already know the hero, so you sell them on what's new.
It would probably be a better trailer if you saw the heroes do something remotely cool. Like Tonto should pull off some stunt that shows his agility and Ranger should do some crazy trick shooting or something. But we'll probably get that stuff in later trailers.
