Hey guys, I've updated this thread for my second feature this year, "ABSCHIEDE - Five Goodbyes",
which you can watch now with English Subtitles:

During the last four years, and for a total budget of less than 3,000 Euros (around 4,000 $), a group of friends has created a very special DIY feature film experience: Told in five chapters, "ABSCHIEDE - Five Goodbyes" is a unique tale about personal loss, grief and hope, starting with a nine-year-old girl and ending with a man at the end of his life.
Directed by Anil Jacob Kunnel, "ABSCHIEDE - Five Goodbyes" also shows that in these new exciting times, everyone can tell a grander story with limited ressources - and without a real budget or a film school. It's a heads up to everyone out there struggling to get their diy-films done.

The film originated from the 5GOODBYES project that I have presented in this forum during the last years. The first feature (or "mixtape") this year was "Pixelschatten - OUR LIFE IS ONLINE."

Pixelschatten is a John Hughes film for a new generation:
Pixel (Ben Gageik) is a 22-year-old small-town blogger: Everyone can read about him and his friends online. His blog "Pixelschatten" used to be the hippest thing in town, but now the local fame has faded away. His friends go to college, have new friends and interests, and his girlfriend Suse (Zora Klostermann) is irritated by the private issues revealed on the blog. When Pixel realizes that everyone but him is moving on, he changes all their lives with just one post...
"Pixelschatten" is a unique cinematic experience, a quirky-melancholic, yet warm and funny portrait of the "generation Internet", mixing the first-person point of you aesthetics of "Enter The Void" with the zeitgeist of "The Social Network". But this time it's not about the greedy entrepreneurs behind a moneymaking machine, it's about the people that spend their everyday life online. It's about you. And the spoilers for your life.
