I am really liking the looks of this, the tone is right for the material and I suspect I am going to like it more than the overly sentimental Del Toro version. (fucking A, Guillermo, you kill off kids but decide to get all mushy with the son of the Devil???)

I'm not feeling this at all. It looks like a weird, off-brand version of Hellboy made by Asylum Studios.

So the reviews for Asylum Pictures Presents Hellman are up, and most of them are pretty dire. It's currently sitting at 11% over on RottenTomatoes. But I guess we shouldn't be too surprised, if reports of the behind-the-scenes drama are true:

I wonder how you can have behind-the-scenes drama when the vast majority of the movie was CGI? Behind-the-green-screen drama perhaps? :wink:
