Am I the only one having problems with a copy of The Rockford Files season 1 disc set?

I had read about glitches on disc 3 before I bought the thing, but now after I bought my own copy, there are episodes that freeze so much that they are unwatchable.

I was just checking to see if anyone else who bought the damn thing has been having trouble.

no, but I almost bought that set the other day. Thanks for the heads up. So the problems are supposed to be pretty widespread?

I probably could, but the fear is that the other discs in the store would be plagued with the same problem.

I guess in this case, it would be better to inform Universal Home Entertainment, so that the process could be corrected.

This is the problem with dual layer double sided discs.

I don't have the Rockford set yet, but the Kolchak set worked flawlessly on my player. Have you tried your discs on other players (maybe belonging to friends) to make sure it's not a hardware problem?
