I've seen it, its a film I've watched once and really haven't gotten myself up to watch again since. Not cause its bad, its a great film, but its hugely depressing, just very draining, emotionally.

-edit, whoops, just noticed I misread the topic title, live action? Never even heard of it, looking it up at Ghibli World it was apparently Japanese TV series, and differs "from the 1988 Studio Ghibli Isao Takahata movie, the series will shift the focus to the aunt of the siblings, and how the war-time environment could change a kind lady to a cold-blooded demon. A famous Japanese celebrity, Nanako Matsushima, will act as the aunt." For those so inclined:

There's a live action Grave of the Fireflies? Guess Hollywood's not the only movie mecca that has trouble coming up with new ideas...

That's not really like what Hollywood does. They expanded and took a different approach.

Hmm...I think it's different from the movie.

I mean the plot..I don't think it's an adaptation...I think it is something different that just stole the name.

No. It's an adaptation. The official site has pics of the bro and sis and everything.
