I tend to get most of my DVD's region free nowadays... mainly as they come with cool stuff, sometimes at no extra cost! My special ed Sky Captain came replete with a model plane (OK, a bit crap, but better than the R2 release), Seven Swords gives you the opp to buy it with the sword replicas, and now I discover Corpse Bride with McFarlane figures! Let's not forget Oz too - I can get a 2 disc region 2/4 version from there of Serenity.
Why do they get so many cool things? Is it to differentiate the original copies from the pirates and give people more reasons to get official releases?

Hehe, free gifts. Buy the merchandise get the dvd free! After all, a films for a couple of hours, an action figures potentially for life. I still remember my reservoir dogs collectors set, wow, those dogtags I got free sure impressed the ladies, and that flip comb, boy did I look smooth. Long live this kind of shit, i'm a sucker for it.
