I've watched the first 15 or so episodes in the last 6 months, it doesn't hold up as well as some shows but it's still good fun, it's just that TV shows are of a much higher caliber these days.

It gets a little formulaic at times and the shooting locations aren't very varied but then it's meant to be a 30's style serial in some ways, not to be taken too seriously.

if you are looking an abundance of rich detail you won't find what you are looking for, if you just want some heroic almost swashbuckling style Adventure and fun then it beats the competition (Hercules/Xena) hands down despite it's mediocre budget in comparison.

Hell Fucking Yeah! This show ruled..They should make a movie.

I actually thought this show was going to outlive X-files when they first premiered together way back when.

I'll admit that this is the first I've heard of this show but anything with Bruce Campbell has me at hello. When was this on and what channel?

This was an old Fox show in the early '90s. It only lasted one season, but I remember liking it (though it's been more than a decade since I've seen it). It's like a tongue-in-cheek western with some fantasy elements thrown in for good measure.

If you just can't wait until July you can watch some episodes (and a bunch of other shows) for free at AOL's In2TV. I've checked out a few things there and they streamed great for me. I definitely suggest a broadband connection for it.

Western with steampunk elements. A fun show that was one more season and a few good directors away from being a classic.

Man, I can't wait for this set!

Exactly. I've seen it at stores for around $80. Way too much money for a box set. For me, anyway.

When I do get $80 there's always something else I need to spend that money on. Maybe I'll look over on eBay... Who knows? I could get lucky and get it half price.

Probably not, though.

Amazon has it for 50% off right now (just under $50). I might have to convince someone to get it for me. :)
