Sin City DVD Commentary

Postby docfalken on Thu Aug 25, 2005 1:11 pm

If you are like me, you were probably bummed that the Sin City DVD didn't include any extras. Well, the 7 minute "behind the scenes" thing wasn't nearly enough information.

Anyhow, some guys had the great idea of putting together a running commentary for the film. Simply download their podcast via iTunes and then start the DVD.

I'll listen to it tonight and let you know what I thought. Great idea though.

That sounds like it could be sweet or down right terrible. Hoping for the former, but if it's the latter, at least it's Doc's ears that are going to be bleeding...

I have to wait until the weekend to listen to the commentary and watch the DVD again. My kids over took the TV last night and it was the Muppet Wizard of Oz again.

So does "Dark Side Of The Moon" work with Muppet Wizard of Oz as well?

Can you play Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon while watching the Muppets Wizard of Oz?

You know. In the movie one of the Muppets actually turns to the camera and says that you can begin playing "Dark Side of the Moon" now.

Pretty funny stuff for a kiddie flick.

Well, I thought the line was funny. The majority of the film makes me wanna cry though.

I'll have to turn my 2 1/2 year-old on to that! It's gotta be better than "The Wiggles"

Your kid will love the flick. Lots to watch. It will help the kid understand who Taratino is.

Doodlebops and Lazy Town totally kicks the Wiggles Aussie ass.

I love that the Sin City thread has devolved into a discussion of childrens television!

I've never even heard of Doodlebops. Is it on U.S. television?

I'll do anything to get Captain Feathersword off of my TV!

I like that too. I think Sin City was childrens TV. All of the violence but without the required Nancy boobage. (Thank you Carla Gugino for helping a brother out otherwise.)

Doodlebops is on Disney Channel. Watch for it.

My daughter wants to be that pink haired kid.

Julianna Rose Mauriello

Remember that name.

Also remember Alyson Stoner. She's that kid in all of the Missy Elliot videos.

My daughter wants to be the purple Wiggle who falls asleep all the time.

Maybe I should have her checked...
