God, this movie was so cool when I was twenty years old and bored as hell, FOURTEEN FUCKING YEARS AGO!

Now, watching it just makes me depressed Chris Penn died so young, and that Michael Madsen makes Mickey Rourke look like a plastic surgery success.

These studios have no shame anymore. Releasing scammy "editions" and not releasing any of these extras on the new formats of HD discs....

You know, I'm happy with the copy I bought for $10.00...

It may have even been $5.00

It looks like alot of this is just rehash from that edition anyway.

I'd rather see a proper Deluxe edition of Kill Bill...dammit Tarantino, snap to it!

I'm gonna try to cut down a bit on my DVD purchases for now as I definetly plan on upgrading to HD some time in the near future. I'll probably go with HD-DVD. Cuz I'm an XBOX-phile and I will be getting the 360 rather than PS-3...and yeah, I just don't think I need all those hours of extras that supossedly make Blue-Ray so much better. So, if I get Dogs again it will be long after I've bought a bunch of other titles. Sorry Lion's Gate, or whatever.

That case it sweet! Sorry guys - but I love a nice SE!

HOWEVER, that said - a commentary from Tarantino would be nice. A PROPER ONE! The commentary thats included is the same as the one on my 10th anniversay (I'm guessing anyway) which is not a real commentary track - its bits and piece of interviews spliced together to match scenes. When they don't have something to match they use an actor or crew member or that Bender

Shame... Tarantino loves talking about movies and he loves commentaries. BUt according to him at the beginning of From Dusk Till Dawn commentary he says he won't ever do one for pulp or dogs because he's seen them too many times to sit through them again!

COmment on quality of work? Nah, I'm the same - but once more for a commentary for the fans... come one! I mean Quentin you're a film fan! What would happen if one of your faces didn't do one that you really wanted... that is what would deserve a triple dip. An extra about a shit video game? I don't think so!

:-)

Did this guy try to be a writer for AICN and got rejected or something? Get banned from talkback? Though big studly red is quite annoying, so maybe its justified.

"Additionally, the presence of online pundit/ bottom-feeder Harry Knowles is especially unwelcome, not only in the context of the remaining experts and authorities, but because he calls the film "ResDogs" and speaks about as succinctly and intelligently as he writes."

Maybe this guy can take over the Dvd Shelf collumn.

Hells yeah! I've held off buying the first two DVDs because he's promised The Whole Bloody Affair edition, but where in the blue diddly is it?

Yep, us too. I've been ready to relent and purchase it, especially as it drops in price, but my sister is determined to hold out...but even her patience is waning.

by so sorry
this is a rare case of triple-dippage that makes me happy.

I don't own an edition of Dogs. Its always been on my list to buy, but i just never got around to it (not a Tarantino fan).

But this packaging/edition drips of cool, so I'll buy it.
