The Pirate Movie

Ah snap, that's the Daft Punk movie, right? Is there any extra footage besides for what you see in the music videos?

It's every music video from the album strung together. There may be a little added footage, but as I havent seen each video individually I would have no idea.

It's seriously "just" the album Discovery, with a video to every single song and it all together turns out to be a complete movie without dialogue. I was surprised how good the experiment worked, if you consider that the songs aren't meant to tell a story.

Amango (= the German Netflix-esque thing I signed up) turned out to be pretty quick with sending out the DVDs, but they didn't really bother with sending me stuff from the top of my Queue. (The first two DVDs, Broken Flowers and Breakfast On Pluto where somewhere around #20 and #50). Today I recieved Alvin & The Chipmunks (Yeah, sue me.), which was at least in my Top 10!
My current Top 5:

1) Enchanted
2) I Am Legend
3) Tideland
4) Free Rainer
5) Futurama: Bender's Big Score

I'm working my way through Justice League: Unlimited Season 1, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman Season 1, and the following films: Public Enemy, Three on a Match/Female, Waitress, The Descent, I Am a Fugitive on a Chain Gang, April Fool's Day and The Kingdom. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is en route.

Yor, I definitely say that "Terror Train" is better than that so-called 'remake' (They're not even partying, they're a bunch of athletes in Europe!)...even if the ending still cries out for a redo.

And Netflix sent me the right copy. :D

So now it's....

At home-The right version of "Othello" with Destro as the Iago character, "Annie Hall"

In the mail-"Interstella 5555"

Changed around top 5-
1. MST3K: Parts, The Clonus Horror
2. My Neighbor Totoro
3. Film Crew: Wild Women of Wongo
4. Army of Darkness
5. Tootsie

Yet again, I had a problem with my "Othello" DVD, they sent me the wrong thing, and I'm like, f--k this, I'm getting it from Amazon then selling it to GameStop when I'm done.

It seems like just about anything with Christopher Eccleston I order from them doesn't quite work...

Maybe it's because I've seen one too many Janus films lately but I suddenly have been overwhelmed by the need to see pure garbage.

So I'm catching up on all the great early 90s garbage I missed out on:

1. Showgirls
2. Foxfire
3. Poison Ivy
4. Poison Ivy 2
5. Single White Female

Yeah it's a very specific subset of early 90s garbage. I'm not sure what to call it..."Chicks who Kick Ass, Get Naked, and Take No Prisoners"?

Something like that.

Well because most zombie movies I want to see I already own or have already seen. I realize I have kinda narrowed myself down with my name but believe it or not, I do enjoy movies that don't have the walking dead in them.

Don't bother with The Crazies, unless its the original version. The recent release was borderline quality dog food, and not much else.
Just an FYI, luv.

Doctor Who, End of Time Part Two, however....epic.

Just an FYI, luv.

Doctor Who, End of Time Part Two, however....epic.

I actually watched the original crazies a few months ago... is the new one really the suck? I am disappointed... :(

It just seemed rather light on "Crazies" doing crazy shite, which would seem to be the whole point of the flick. It held a lot of promise, then really didn't do much of anything. I would be keen to hear your take on it though, having seen the original.
