I came this close to getting a Droopy tattoo. Droopy is the best cartoon character ever.

Ever see that "Harvey Birdman" episode with Droopy after botox?

I really really want to catch this at the cinema, opened yesterday over here but I'm never gonna make time to catch it. Can't believe you have it on DVD already over there. I'm jealous. Bah.

I don't return movies.
Even worse?
I don't watch them.
I've had Ocean's 13, Stardust and Bourne 3 for months. Before that, I had three other movies for almost a year. I suck.
Lady Sheridan wrote:Slightly off topic, but is anyone suffering from a jammed up que? My entire Netflix list is marked "Very Long Wait." I've had to go to Blockbuster to rent anything made after 1990.
We called to complain and amazingly, they freed up Atonement after feeding us a BS story about studio distribution. But otherwise, all they send me are DVDS of Bones and documentaries.
Amazingly, my cousin, who is a brand new customer, has been able to get everything from Juno to the Mist, whereas I'm stuck waiting. Conspiracy?
Anyway, I am just curious if it's a local problem or if everyone's been suffering.
Keepcoolbutcare wrote:What annoys me about them is that they don't order enough of the re-releases, like CRITERION discs...been waiting forever for TWO LANE BLACKTOP and THIS SPORTING LIFE, took me months to get KILLER OF SHEEP.

Well I've heard rumors of "Netflix throttling," where they make getting films to members who go through a lot of DVDs less of a priority, but I'm not sure whether there's any truth to them. I do think studio distribution has at least something to do with it because I'll get popular movies like Knocked Up the week they're released but then have to wait for Miss Potter for almost a year.
RogueScribner wrote:LS, it could be a problem in your area. I'm not sure where you live, but they have regional distribution centers and depending on the population of your area they might have fewer discs in inventory and if those few people really take advantage of the no return date policy, well, you could be stuck for a while, even on a newly released blockbuster movie.
I've gotten e-mails from Netflix before telling me that the title I wanted was not currently available in my region so it would be an extra couple of days while they send one out from elsewhere.

Good show LD.
Effin' classic. Especially Cheese.
Unfortunately, not everyone likes Cheese.

Really? That's cool.
Here's mine. All this Goonie talk, I decided to finally break down and watch it. I even put it at the top of my queue.
1. The Goonies

But then you can't be part of the Goonies-Free Existence club!

Ah snap, that's the Daft Punk movie, right? Is there any extra footage besides for what you see in the music videos?
