Emily's Reasons Why Her Show Got Cancelled

Postby thomasgaffney on Mon Jan 23, 2006 11:41 am

Heather Graham's "Emily's Reasons Why Not" got cancelled. After only 1 episode!!

Now, I did miss out on what was, apparently, the only opportunity to catch this show on the air, but was it really THAT bad?!? 1 episode!!

I found an article on it HERE.

Uh..yeah..did you ever see the ads for it?

I could tell right away it wasn't going to make it past show 3.

Looks like a fun watch just to see how BAD it is.

I don't know, despite being a stunner she's not really a very good actress, she plays almost every character like a bunny caught in the headlights of a car.

I'm not even sure what this show was about so I can't really comment, although from the little I have seen I'm not really that suprised.

Why Burl? Why? Heather is so nice. She played, as JL mentioned, "rabbit in headlight" so well in Bowfinger too.

The network claims it was taken off so as not to compete against special programming. Give it until next week to see if it really was canceled.

They told them to not make any more episodes, and they had only shot 4, so I think we might get the other three used to dump into empty slots at some point, but I doubt it will rise from the grave.
However they did a similar thing with that Stamos show (which as far as I can see was the same show as this, only with a guy) dumping like 5 episodes in the first week, and only having half a season. Bit lo-and-behold the dozens of Stamos fans were rewarded with a second season.

That's Reason Number One. SHE FORGOT TO TAKE OUT HER TITTIES. Direct result? Show cancelled. Good job, Graham Cracka. We don't even need the other so-called "reasons."
