Summer of 2006.

Somewhat vague, I know.
But that's all there is for now.

Nevermind part 2.

the finale last year was teh bomb, all hell was about to break loose with the x-me... er um I mean the 4400 and the development of thier mutan... er I mean abductie powers were starting to really take solid form.

I hope they make another season, though they did have a couple episodes that were a little meh, for the most part I think the show had more potential than Lost. Yeah I know most will probably disagree but seriously you've got 4400 possible stories instead of a couple dozen crash survivors. Think about it.

The way they had that episode where that 4400 woman got into Tom's head and they lived years where they got married and stuff but it really was only a matter of seconds in the real world blew me away. What a way to introduce a new character!

Cool, I wasn't sure it was coming back.

Now we can find out how the baby (forgot her name) suddenly morphed into a naked chick wandering around the house.

So I've been watching the marathon between other shows (at night) to help ketchup and remember the end of last season. I can't wait for this show to begin again, because (ironically) we left off in a very X-men:the last stand kind of fashion. War has been raged and the 4400's powers are increasing now that they don't have that inhibitor stuff in their systems. Man this is going to be killer.

tv guide wrote:In the third-season premiere, Richard is forced to cope with his infant daughter's sudden transformation into a woman (Megalyn Echikunwoke), and a horrendous change in his wife, Lily. Meanwhile, Dennis Ryland is injured during Congressional hearings, and the person responsible may be part of a radical 4400 splinter group. Tippi Hedren. Alana: Karina Lombard. Dennis Ryland: Peter Coyote.

I DON'T WANT SPOILERS (so if you have them please supply needed warning) but I'm curious what are they going to do to Lily? Will they take her youth away because isabella suddenly aged 20 years? And why the hell is Dennis still involved in the story? didn't the last season end with him being arrested for giving the 4400 the inhibitor that made them all sick? The douche!

I think I need a better recap here, because I feel like I'm forgetting a ton of details.

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK well, watched the new episode last night and I wasn't highly impressed tbh.

It bothers me how much Isabelle's powers resemble wolverine's healing factor and what happened to the powers she had as a child, are those gone? Plus what does Matthew know about Isabelle that would make him slap her (like a pimp) and tell her a story of herself and wtf was that story? If I remember correctly Matthew wasn't a 4400 but rather an associate of Jordan's, so again what can he know? Is this hinting toward Jordan having some underground posse or society made up of or designed to protect 4400s and help them achieve this hidden (to everyone but Matthew) secret? And why was Matthew looking to get rid of the re-animated Jordan? Is Matthew even really on the side of the 4400?

Alana and Tom using Alana’s powers to "get away" I thought was a little stupid too and I don't see how it helped anything but their love story at all (which already had a whole show dedicated to it), plus Tom was using her gift just to escape his reality which kind of portrays him as some emotional pussy as it pertains to him dealing with his job and his real life.

I was really looking forward to this premier because I thought they really ended last season very well. But for me it was just meh. Nothing exceptionally interesting happened, no highly intriguing questions were asked and based on the previews for next week, it looks like the show is going to start jumping all over the place again, away from the government war against the 4400 and all that detail (until the season finale of course).

I felt like last nights show was an insult to most people’s intelligence. The Nova Group being the only ones capable of getting anything done, though without that money and support from Shawn where and what can they do?

After watching the whole thing I honestly felt a little pissed off. I was pissed at the shows that open our minds to questions then make us jump thru hoops to find answers, yet all we really find is more questions and more hoops to jump thru for more answers. Jump monkeys jump!

don't know if anyone's still watching this. i've been a bit iffy on this season so far. after the first episode, i wanted to see full-out war breaking out, 4400 blowing shit up with their heads, stuff like that. they set up that terrorist 4400 group, but haven't done anything with them. instead it just kinda went back to the same kinds of episodes, with a bit more continuity going on but nothing groundbreaking.

but tonight's episode was really good. finally something happened, now that collier is back. i'm actually curious to see where it's gonna go. i'm a bit worried they could go overboard with the messiah stuff... resurrection, beard, long hair, propesies, and the coincidental initials (j.c.? jordan collier? jesus christ?) but i really liked his last scene with isabell. she was all like "i'll do whatever you tell me to" and he's like "get lost! you're evil bitch and you ain't gonna change" and she's like "if i'm so evil why shouldn't i just kill you now" and he's all "just try it, bitch! go ahead, i'll take your ass down!" (i'm paraphrasing here). so he's like a messiah, but he's a badass messiah, the kind of messiah who will kick your ass if you get outta line. i'm looking forward to seeing where they go with this.

These guys are excellent at slow-builds...each season (even the short one) starts out slow, but by the wrap-up it seems nigh impossible that I'll be able to wait until the following summer. I'm wondering how long it will be until
Kyle bites it....

This show didn't qualify for the networks, but According to Jim continues on...

Great way to begin the 4th season!

Postby Airstrike on Mon Jun 18, 2007 6:17 am

They begin this new season by making last seasons finale irrellevant. Brilliant!!! If you inject yourself - survive the 50/50 chance of dying and are given too powerful an ability, Jordan Collier (aka: Jesus Christ) will take it away from you - HAHA thanks for playing - do not pass go, do not collect $200 and do not recieve a superpower for risking your life.

Please try again - NOT!

Game Over......

p.s. Now go on living the rest of your pathetic useless life.

The past 2 episodes have been damn good.

My only major complaint would be that it feels like they are rushing Tom's development.

I really loved all the old B movie conspiracy stuff this week.

Shawn should have just let Hewitt stay the way he was. Dumb move.

Yeah, I got busy and didn't come back but I did catch up. Excellent excellent!

I was wondering about Isabelles dad too. He seems to have got lost after her mom died. Being that he is still shown in the opening I would think he is coming back. I haven't checked on the USA website to confirm that suspicion though.

I really want Lana to come back somehow. I was so annoyed when she was sent back.

I'm still watching, but I haven't enjoyed this season much at all.

The way they're steering the 4400 to be some on some kind of crusade, or missionaries from the future, doesn't work at all to me.

Like the genetic mutation that gave X-men their powers, Promicin was set up with a scientific foundation. Now, they've turned the whole thing into a fulfillment of some sort of prophecy, and the two don't reconcile in my view.

So now, my mind wanders and begins to notice some of the cheezier elements of the the show, and the whole thing begins to snowball.
