Anyone watching "Free Radio" with comedian Lance Krall?

It's on VH1 and it's rather hilarious. They have celebrity guests each week that are questioned by a very dim witted Krall who plays the part of a radio intern that becomes an overnight sensation on the radio station.

I watched Ace of Cakes last night on the Food Network. The theme of the show was game cakes. The head of the bakery is Chef Duff, he is quite the character.

They made a Slot Machine cake, a scrabble cake, and a bubblegum cake. Incredible food architecture!!

Ok, I know this may already lower your opinion of me, but I've been watching that show on VH1, Rock of Love 2.

It's hilarious. 1 hour of solid entertainment. I guess I was more curious what Brett *hasbeen rockstar* Michaels is up to.

Guess what? Not much! Just hosting a show with 20 skanky women. But it's fun to watch.

Ever notice how crap Laura Dern is in 'Jurassic Park'? The rest of the movie is fine, but every single one of her scenes is absolute shit. The heart-to-heart confessional with the billionaire guy in the cafeteria while eating ice cream? Ridiculous. Does she need to do the whole scream/cry thing for EVERY line of dialogue she gets?

JPIII was on right after, and whoa - what a mess that thing is. It's more like an ILM demo reel starring Sam Neill. The pterydactyls were a complete missed opportunity (still love the giant birdcage, though), and while there are some kick-ass dino fights scattered here and there, it's basically just run-fight-run-fight-run-fight for two hours. I lost count of how many times Joe Johnston decided to rip off an iconic Spielberg moment to make a shot - Sam Neill and his wannabe Indy hat, the finned dinosaur somehow being able to submerge its enormous self in two feet of water and doing a 'Jaws' impersonation, etc etc etc...

I'd still watch a JP4, though. Hell yeah. Raptors with lasers strapped to their freakin' heads? Bring it on.

A documentary series that I worked on. I worked more on the second part next week but this is still freaky deeky shit.

People having sex with cars.

Goddam Mechaphiliacs.

Next week it's Objectum Sexuale. Even freakier when it's women.

Hahah!

It didn't show the best bit, where Amy left the Organ (haha!) for the balustrade at that front of the church, called 'Strayder'

It also didn't show Naisho's 15 minute verbal tirade against mankind because we shoud 'forgive the Berlin wall because it didn't know what it was doing'.

Her discussion with the woman from the musuem (who was a holocaust survivor) about the Berlin wall was so fucking warped

Not sure why I watched this, suppose there was nothing else on.

"Search for Elle Woods" or something like that. It was on MTV last night. Basically it's 30 girls, which is now narrowed down to 10. They have a broadway director, a choreographer, and writer judging these girls to see who will be the next Elle Woods in the broadway hit, "Legally Blonde". It's rather amusing. I may watch next week too.

I´ll give you one warning and one warning only Maui.

If you continue to watch, there will be countless more seasons and spin offs on TV that will saturate the market.
The brits are pisssed off with this formatted crap. Every fucking year its the same and then it all turns commercial at the end. It´s good enough for one run but they´ll ruin the format with their phone ins and money making crap that it becomes so blatantly obivous that the whole idea of the show is about siphoning off more money from you.

I'm hooked (no pun intended) as well.

Can't wait for shark week on Discovery either.

I watched GREEK with the girlfriend last night. The writing is so unbelievably predictable, but Clark Duke does have a few funny quips which puts it over water.

Sadly, as one holding a degree in theatre, I've been watching this too

what cracks me up is these girls going "she doesn't have any of the qualities of Elle Woods"

and I'm thinking to myself "it's called acting you dumb girl"

this show is definatly a "gimmick" show that I don't know, just feels cheap, I know it'll generate more revenue of course for the stage show, as well as it's own ratings, which means they'll do it again in a year or so with the same musical or another one

but unless the girl that wins REALLY knocks it out of the park on Broadway, she's going to be screwed as "the chick that won the MTV reality show"

Mad Men, from the same guy who did Breaking Bad.... it's bloody great. All about the advertising men of Manhattan drive in the early 60's. Looks fantastic.

Also, just to get the reality tv bones shaking I've been watching Black Gold a show that puts three oil rigs up against eachother in a hunt for oil in Taxas. It's good fun and even though I get the feeling that it may be a bit repetitive (I mean it is just drilling after all) but Ep's 1-3 have been good brain numbing fun.

Has anyone in the uk watched "No Heroics"?

(Not that im in the UK but god bless the internet)

The sitcom about crap uk superheroes? Basically consists of them sitting in a pub and talking shit, with some ventures outdoors, bad dates, fan conventions etc.

As its an ITV2 programme I thought it would be utter drivel. Actually its not too bad. Its pretty funny and worth a look.

Heres some clips from the first episode

Timebomb who can see 60 seconds into the future is a cool cat. But I like the dude from the alan partridge show anyway.

OK so we recently started getting into Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia and this show is great1 I don't know how I managed to not see this in any of the 1st, 2nd or 3rd seasons but we're watching it now religiously. Anyway we just got the dvds for season 3 and the intro video is well .... THIS!

Unfortunately this gives you absolutely zero information about the show but it is funny none the less. Is anyone else watching this show? I found no threads about it or anything and I'm not sure there is much to discuss here but thought I would through it out there. It is one of my most anticipated shows these days. If you haven't seen it - you should check out an episode and see if you like it. You can find full episodes HERE! take a look, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Enjoy

The BBC's "Terry Pratchett - Living with Alzheimer's". Very touching. It's a two parter, tonight was the first part and it's quite touching to see Pratchett's honesty. Some nice, yet vague information on Alzheimers and not a great help to sufferers. It doesn't produce an in depth understanding of the disease but it certainly touches on enough on the aspects and such an eloquent contributor and narrator, it makes the show easy to watch for all those that Alzheimers has affected.

I guess the ref earlier went unnoticed as there weren't many UK'ers on this site

Might be worth a few of you erm....acquiring this.

I know which one I'd find more entertaining.

White Chicks has better acting and characterisations than MI:3. At least you get what you see with White Chicks, which is an entertaining silly story with some lovey jokes by the Wayans brothers.

At least the believability factor is there with White Chicks. At leas the main protagonists don't have to make themselves look taller in a running scene by setting it in rural China.

Why oh why does Tom get a plane everywhere as well? we all know you could mail him in a letter, send it UPS and it'll be there by 9:30 tomorrow, or you could swallow the little fella and squeeze him out when he gets to where he needs to go.

Plus, the ending of MI:3, where the whole super secret, above the government, agency all welcome Tom's wife into the group like they've been friends for years...GROW UP! IF it was such a secret organisation, it would have been 2 in the back of the head for her and Tom, dumped in a river and consigned to a grave with supermarket trolleys and old tyres.

No, in the balance of things, I'd rather watch White Chicks because it's much more believable that 2 black cops crossdress as 2 white celebrities to solve a crime.

Hells Kitchen is about to start on ITV now.

I got it from a good source that Ade Edmundona already likes to kick up a stink about Grant Bovey, Anthea Turners Hubby.

It's true, man I bought a dog off told me.
