I think this is one of the funniest shows on tv. I know it is supposed to come back this month but I haven't heard a date. Does anybody know? I know they did have a marathon this last Sat.

I watched last season and loved it! I haven't been seeing any ads for the upcoming season. Wish I had known about the marathon, I totally would have watched.

Did you watch Starved while it was on by any chance? I wish it had gotten signed on for a second season as well. When those two shows aired on the same night it was the funniest hour on television.

I've seen one commercial for season two, but that was quite a while ago. Maybe F/X realized their roots and shitcanned a good show?

For those who don't know about the show it's about four friends who run a bar together. Two of the friends are brother and sister. The situations that they are placed in are kind of edgy: abortion, people getting shot, kids getting drunk, molestation, Nazi grandpa, the usual stuff.

I think Danny Devito really saved the show. I also think that the show doesn't really cost that much to make since the only sets used are the bar and Charlie's apartment. The season finale was great with Charlie's "American Me" outfit, oh and huffing Elmer's glue

I need to get the DVD sets, and I've only seen a few previous Eps, but man if this wasnt funny as hell!

Wanting to get the dumpster baby (named DB!!) a tan was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Not to mention Devito and the other guy doing acid at the tailgate party was TV gold!

My DVR is now fixed to this!

Im glad you like it. The show needs more of a following.

The funniest episode is the welfare one. The 2 last night imho weren't as constantly hilarious as the past 2 seasons. I imagine it is because they have 15 episodes this season.

Just discovered this show in the past few days... I'm almost thru the second season, and its fucking hysterical. But not in a laugh out loud kind of way. Like a holy-shit-I-can't-believe-they're-doing that kinda hysterical.

Season 4(?) starts at the end of september in case anyone has forgotten...

It's a unique show - so slap dash and sloppy, but often pretty brilliant. I've watched all three series over the past couple of months and am looking forward to more - they should be due to capitalise on the references to Charlie's huffing habit soon.

Dennis is my favourite.

Also, Sweet Dee is hot, in that 'drunk chick at a bar' kinda way.

Well I'm an Australian, so no luck there. Really, I don't see the 'Americana' you talk about in it much - there are bars and scumbags the world over. It has a sardonic and cynical perspective that's unusual in American comedy, with notable exceptions like Larry David's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', which I find this somewhat similar to, though this is prone to getting sillier.

I definitely put it in with the Curb vibe.

I feel like they are pointing out the ridiculousness of these characters' (and people who actually act like them) behaviour, while making us laugh at it at the same time.

Check... gotta get Curb Your Enthusiasm in my queue.

I was thinking about my Seinfeld comparison: Jerry and crew started out almost normal. They were weird and eccentric from the get go, but as the seasons progressed, they spiraled down into selfishness and ignorance etc, and by the end they were just unbeleiveably horrible people to each other and all they encountered (PS Seinfeld is one of my all-time favorite shows).

Its like the Always Sunny crew started right where Seinfeld left off: these idiots started out rude, crude, ignorant and degenerate, AND ONLY GOT WORSE! Yeah, they've gone out of the realm of believability, but so what, its still funny as shit. Why am I not seeing these guys in movies yet?

Seasons 1 & 2 made me think it was one of the best shows currently on television.

However, the show seriously fell off with Season 3. I think it may have had something to do with the creators (the main actors) handing off the writing duties to hired hands. If I remember correctly, they said they had felt "overwhelmed" by the length of Season 3.

Hopefully, with the upcoming season, they will have returned to working their original magic.

I'm hoping they put more in the season 3 DVD. The first DVD didn't have that many extras (only 1 or 2 commentaries). I also wished they would have put the entire pilot instead of just clips. The tone has gotten a bit more wacky I guess in this last season but the humor is still there. All three seasons on Hulu with literally 20-30 seconds of commercials.

Let's be honest. It's basically live-action cartoon now.

We'll see how season four turns out. I heard that they took note when a lot of fans voiced similar opinions on their IMDB board.

Seen Season 1, 2 and 3.

Funny stuff. There's some great dialogue in there and some moments of pure stupidity.

Looking forward to season 4 and how they get out of the pickle that is the end of season 3

Watched the two new episodes last night... the first one was OK, not really anything to get overly excited about. In fact, my anticipation for the new season was so high, that as I was watching the first one, I got a little nervous that I had put this show on too high a pedestal.

Then I saw the second episode, and all my fears were gone. Funny. As. Fuck! The A-Team comparisons were hysterical, and Charlie truly is a Wildcard. Cannot wait for more.

PS: Fucking FX... this crass, un-PC, brutal show was "sponsored by" some stupid ass Dane Cook/Jason Biggs dumb-shit romantic comedy, so I had to endure behind-the-scenes garbage and constant commercials for My Best Friend's Girlfriend. I'm not sure which marketing genius thought that Its Always Sunny was the same demographics as their piece-of-shit movie.

Faithful watcher here... although this season hasn't had me roll out of my seat too often, it is still a kick-ass show, and the funniest thing on TV (that I watch).

The second episode (the A-team one) is still the cream of the crop this season.
