Could you give me the low down on what the show is about?

Wanting to get the dumpster baby (named DB!!) a tan was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
Not to mention Devito and the other guy doing acid at the tailgate party was TV gold!
My DVR is now fixed to this!

Sweet. 7 seasons of might be jsut enough... these guys are (funny) scumballs, despicable and without redemption. They are still borderline believable... not sure what later seasons may bring.
tapehead wrote:It's a unique show - so slap dash and sloppy, but often pretty brilliant. I've watched all three series over the past couple of months and am looking forward to more - they should be due to capitalise on the references to Charlie's huffing habit soon.
Dennis is my favourite.
Also, Sweet Dee is hot, in that 'drunk chick at a bar' kinda way.

I'd like to hear a Brits take on this actually... it seemed like a uniquely Americana type show, but I guess not...

Well I'm an Australian, so no luck there.
tapehead wrote:Really, I don't see the 'Americana' you talk about in it much - there are bars and scumbags the world over. It has a sardonic and cynical perspective that's unusual in American comedy, with notable exceptions like Larry David's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', which I find this somewhat similar to, though this is prone to getting sillier.

I feel like they are pointing out the ridiculousness of these characters' (and people who actually act like them) behaviour, while making us laugh at it at the same time.

Also, I've been watching faithfully! This season is a little more consistent than last year, and I can't get enough of Charlie and Mack!
