Maybe if we are lucky he will only make an appearance on the 1st episode - as a corpse.

That's true, he did snap very well. He was rather dullsville before the snap though. She definitely had reasons to marry him, but I prefer her in single mode, getting busy in alleys with strangers. lol

I prefer her single as well. The psycho DEA aspect, and the Armenians for that matter, brought too heavy of a weight on the season for me. I loved the first season a lot more when it was a much lighter-themed show. Not to say I don't like the show, but I'm looking forward to laughing more.... especially if there's more Kevin Nealon sex scenes.

I've seen the first two episodes of season 3, they are good, nothing special but fun, pretty much like every other episode.

No Modine or Olsen twin yet though.

Lucky you. I think I'll pick up season 2 on DVD. I need to watch that last episode from season 2 again. I made the assumption the DEA guy was dead and I need to revisit this!

Interesting to see how the Olsen gal will do. I've only ever seen her as a youngin' on Full House.

Ah, interesting.

I saw Martin Donovan in a movie the other night, "Simple Men", a Hal Hartley flick, interesting movie, good dance scene too.

Best exchange of the night:

DOUG: Dana won't f@ck anyone. Something about a short cervix and how she might be a lesbian.

DEAN: You have four kids?

DOUG: Whose names could be "tequila shot", "snuck it in while she was sleeping", "doing it for a Lexus" and "turkey baster".

Basically this episode was all resolving the season 2 clffhanger. We aren't all resolved yet but it's getting there.

Zoey and her heart hugs. haha.

stereos, you nailed it! That entire sequence in the bathroom between Doug and Dean was absolutely hysterical.

"Check it out... Tylenol with Codine!"
"OOOOOOH, MEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEME!!!"

"I'll bet you your portion of the sales from the stash that I'm bigger than you."
"That's a lot of cash..."
"I've got a lot of dick!"

Fucking RIOT.

Then Deans discussion wiht his daughter afterwards was great too.

"You weren't even the most embarassing parent there!"

I actually wish Nancy had picked up Celia in that chair and thrown her in the pool. That was... horrible. Absolutely horrible, what she did. I hugged my bag of reefer afterwards, I felt so bad.

Well, not really, but if I had one I would have.

That new guy, T-Bone's (is that the dude's name?) partner who went with Nancy and the Albanian, he is a RIOT. I dig that character, I hope he sticks around a while.

Have you guys watched any of the Good Morning Aggrestic shorts they have on Showtime OnDemand? I have to admit, they are pretty damn funny.

Ill have to check out the agrestic stuff.

Man yeah that was so mean. Celia is a bitch.

Makes me wish I had stuff to smoke.

I think TBone is awesome but UTurn is sort of grating.

Basically everything is resolved from last season's finale at this point.

Conrad working for U Turn.

Nancy owing U Turn lots o money.

Sanjay being queerer than a bag of rainbows.

Celia had a drunken anti-drug rant.

Nancy's strip down with the following pool breakdown. Unhinged!

An Agrestic parent pulled a Britney Spears at the graduation party.

Andy Botwin interact with a group of NASCAR-loving vigilantes was blah.

The one thing that bothers me about this show is that the writers tend to simply "forget" plot points and characters from previous episodes, and then make up new ones as they see fit, i.e. does anyone remember Celia's OTHER daughter from Season 1? The one she shipped off to some school/camp or whatever? And what about that hispanic dude that Nancy did in the alleyway? They brought him into the "master plan" as the distributor and then promptly dropped him from the show. And then there's the whole Sanjay being g@y thing. You can tell they just thought that one up in between seasons.

Other than that, I love the show. Scathingly funny!

Celia's other daughter? What about what's-his-name's son? The one who sold to kids? Notice he was never mentioned again.

I think it can easily be chalked up to the fact that those two characters appeared in the pilot, which was most likely filmed before the rest of the show was underway. Those two actors may have had other commitments and there ya go.

But yah, the hispanic dude she boned totally just vanished. It'd be great if he just pops up again in an episode and Nancy's like "where the fuck have YOU been?"

I found Modine's character a little bit over-the-top in terms of caricature. I mean... ALL of the roles on the show are charicatures, but there's a subtlety to them that makes it worthwhile. His just seemed so cartoony. Maybe it was the hair.

He reminded me of comedian Kelly Montieth.

He's totally the Monorail guy from that episode of the Simpsons, he's going to take all the money and run.
