Chuck

The greatest TV in history is being made right now. The worst TV in history is being made right now.

I'm waiting for the inevitable scene where Chuck goes into a room full of baddies and waits for his "kung fu" to kick in but it doesn't. Uh oh.

Good news for Chuck! Sucks it's only a 13-ep commitment. It's ratings are only the tiniest bit below Heroes', but I guess the retard demographic is the one NBC is after.

Tis good news that it got renewed. I'm actually quite into it now (we've just started the second season here).

Second series is much better than the first. The jokes come thick and fast.

It's back!!!!

And such a welcome return. A good opener for a show that I thought wouldn't make it past the first series.

Damn, this show is so awesome. I loved the references, from Lebowski to the final Rock IV reference.

I love it, I love it, I love it.

Thank you Mr Levi.

Just read this from TV.com about the next ep.

Thank you!!!

Apparently the answer to my question existed in the teaser for next week, but hulu doesn't automatically play those (and I'm not in the habit of seeking them out), but now I know.

BTW, I really missed this show. I'm glad it's back, even if Julia Ling is no longer on the show (she was a hottie!).

She was really hot too, and not too overplayed.

It would have been nice to see her dress up as a super spy/goth at some point.

She would have made an excellent spy.

I love how awesome is becoming part of the team, he's an amazing underused character. It's also great how he appeared bland at the start and just an obstacle for Morgan and has now become an integral part of the show

I don't know, I found these new episodes seriously lacking. The whole "Chuck tries to flash, but can't, so gets beat up, only to flash at the last minute" thing has already run it's course.

I am glad Awesome has gotten more involved, but I find myself losing interest fast each episode. That this point, I would prefer it to go the 30 minutes sitcom route; an hour is just way too long. It because impossible not to space out.

EDIT: And for the love of all things holy, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU EMPLOY LANA?!??! Ugh, I can't WAIT to watch this weeks ep.

Actually, I found Kristen Kruek to be really cute and charming in this episode. Reminds me of her early days as Lana before she sucked the life out of Smallville. And, unlike on Smallville, she wasn't wearing too much makeup!!!

I'm liking Chuck. Chuck was often reactive in the first two seasons, so I'm digging that he's taking a more pro-active approach now. He isn't a super spy yet, but I don't see it as a bad thing that he wants to achieve that goal. He's always wanted more out of life and now his chance, if he can only learn to control himself. I don't think the show jumped the shark at all. Though I'm wondering how well the Buy More factors into things this season. It seems like they may have to cut those ties soon.

I've been watching Chuck since it premiered and it is one of my top 5 favorite shows. I like the direction the show is going in, and although Kristen Kreuk is on the show, I suspect she won't last too long. I don't know what is planned for her character, but I suspect the Buy More is not going anywhere. It is an integral part of the show in my opinion. I love the crap that goes on there (Fight Club, etc.).
Look! Even Steve is throwing chocolate snowballs . . . oh . . .

So, I caught myself up. And I am officially out. The show is going nowhere and no longer interests me in the slightest. Too bad. I think for the longest time I tried to convince myself I dug this show because of the Josh Schwartz connection.

Why did you choose THIS show to come on Brandon Routh?!!? WHY?!?!?!

Well, tonight's episode was originally supposed to be the season finale, but then NBC ordered more episodes. It certainly did feel like a finale, though. I gotta say, except for one thing, I really liked the episode. It wasn't as uber-awesome as last year's finale, but now we have another batch of episodes to look forward to and Josh Schwartz says it's even crazier.

SPOILERS BELOW

The one thing I didn't like: Shaw turning bad. It would have been cooler and more in character for him to be playing the double-agent. I could even see him being disillusioned with the CIA and quitting. But going after Sarah? It just didn't seem right. I didn't buy that Shaw would ever cross that line. He might flirt with the idea, but then he'd wise up and just remove himself from temptation. That's the Shaw I knew, anyway.

So yeah, that part really disappointed me. I guess Chuck had to become a "real spy" and killing Shaw was an easy way to do it. I liked Shaw and I hated to see him go out like that. :|

I don't think Shaw's dead. He could be the new head of the Ring :)

I also heard rumours of Scott Bakula making an appearance as his father again.

I hope the new eps set up a good story for the next series. I love Chuck. The Yoda line was cracked me up this ep.

Last 3 eps of that last series of Chuck were a real roller coaster.

They needed nothing more than to be Chuck: The series; I loved every minute of it.

Bakula's reappearance, and the story arch were wonderful, considering it was an afterthought.

I hope this gets a 4th season because the 3rd was so enjoyable, and the Indy ending was superb, if a little far fetched, but that's the point of the show.

If you want a panacea to all the gritty modern shows then Chuck is your answer.

I still don't fully buy into Shaw's turn to the dark side, but other than that, I love me some Chuck goodness. I geeked out when Ellie, Awesome, and Morgan went to save the spy team. How cool was that?

Just rewatched the Chuck finale...Still awesome.

I don't buy the ending but it's still entertaining. My biggest concern is that Ellie turns out to be the greatest weapon above chuck but I'm still hooked and enjoy the show.

Keep it coming, keep it coming.
