Dollhouse

The greatest TV in history is being made right now. The worst TV in history is being made right now.

Postby Lord Voldemoo on Thu Nov 01, 2007 2:49 pm

hahaha, I signed it.

This is fantastic news! Whedon and Minear collaborating again on a series...I can't wait. I don't care what it's about, it could be about a dogfood manufacturing plant and I'd check this out.

I'll be very interested to see how Dushku does leading a show with Whedon and crew writing for her.

Yeah, Whedonesque removed the story. Maybe they don't bother with "joke" stories. I thought Burl's post was hi-larious and I was trying to spread the love. Plus Whedon does stop by from time to time so I thought it'd be cool to see some early support for his new show. Oh well.

If they had any brains at all they'd realize the joke was aimed at the stupid executives that cancelled Firefly, not at Whedon fans. Bah, maybe Dollhouse DESERVES to get cancelled 'cause Whedon's fans are anal.

A preorder of 7 eps garuntees that Fox(under semi-new management) won't fuck Whedon around this time. So just relax and enjoy this ride. Umm...by the way, I've never seen a single ep of Buffy...should I start with S1?

No, start with season seven, then I'd go with 4, 1, 6, 3, 5, and then 2. Fox produced all the episodes out of order and this is Whedon's preferred viewing schedule.

I thought this idea was kind of ridiculous when I first heard about it last year (or at the very least I was bummed to hear that Whedon had abandoned some of the big-screen stuff he was working on), but some of this more recent news is actually making the project sound pretty cool. I don't know what's going to happen to the show if SAG goes on strike, but I was sold on "Firefly" from the pilot, so hopefully the same will happen here.

Joss must love abuse....let's hope these turds give this show more than 13 gorram episodes.

He said in an interview it's a new regime and that theyve been very supportive. That is "so far" of course.

Yeah I'm sure that's why they gave him a seven episode order. Josh is in for another shock.
