It's already been alluded to that The Governor will eventually be on the show.
If Darabont's name alone didn't give you complete relief as to how the show will come off, that bit of news should rest your fears about the content.

That was my thought, too. But after looking at it again, it creates a sort of Romero-esque feeling, which I don't mind. The brush strokes are kind of neat in the zoomed version, too.
Also, I hope they get Kevin Bacon to play the part of the Kevin Bacon Zombie on the left side.
