Anyone see it? I loved it. Jason Schwatzman, Zach Galifianakis, Ted Dansen in a non irritating role. I thought it was very bright, clever and perfectly angsty.

Yeah, I'm a-lookin' and I'm a-likin'. I didn't think the story itself was all that great, but I like the concept, and Schwartzman can totally carry this series. Plus Ted Danson was hilarious in his supporting role. I'm down for some more episodes.

I really thought the show was quite clever.

I especially liked when Schwartzman started to dance in the Manhattan hotel lobby (due to his boredom while waiting for that British/tattooed dude).

Galifinakis and Danson are equally amusing.

it's a quirky 30 minutes and I will definitely be tuning in next week.

I don't think he was describing an actual falcon hood, but perhaps those masks used in Eyes Wide Shut. An actual falcon hood is those blinders you put on a falcon so they don't claw your face out.

This show makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. I like the characters, the locations, the sweetness.

I can't stop thinking about the conversation in the first episode about how a girl falls in love with the artist and then wants something else/more down the line. That is one of my worst fears.

I'd love to see more of Parker Posey in this, but it felt like a 'guest star spot' - she was funny anyhow.

Yeah, it did feel like a guest star spot - shame if it is, she's such a great comedic talent. I'm not sure if we are going to see Jonathan have a successful relationship on the show. That's part of the charm, his pining over his ex girlfriend as well as his attempts to get lucky with other women. FAIL!

The few i was able to see while I was visiting a house that has HBO were pretty good, and I really like Ted Danson in this, his scenes had me laughing out loud the most, and Schwartzman plays well off of him, too, though I also can't get past feeling like he is playing a grown up version of Max from Rushmore...

Danson is just so likeable as a seedy and romantic stoned socialite - who would have thought - he just seems so comfortable in the role - and he and Schwartsman have a great rapport

There is something very endearing and amusing watching Schwartzman's character scream into his phone "GOOGLE NEW YORK Dumbledore MALE ESCORTS" to Ted Danson , while 3 rather large and scary Russian mobsters surround him in a seedy Brighton Beach restaurant/club.

BTW, the show is picked up for a 2nd season. Woot! Woot!

I'm still smiling about the skateboard stuff. The show has such a warm charm. At first I was kind of disappointed Zach Galifianakis was subdued, but seeing him in this role makes me love him even more.

$50 is worth half of a colonic. Danson and Galifinakis in the Subaru.

The show was hilarious! Best episode this season.

Yeah. I missed last week's episode, but I think this may have been my favorite of the season as well. Ted Danson crawling into a moving car through the window: priceless.

I was laughing so hard at them running in the house then getting chased that I was kicking my feet. It's fun to have a new show to look forward to. Too bad the season is so short. Maybe since people like it they'll make more the next time around.

I thought it was hilarious when Danson went running to the house, using Janet as a weapon. For those of you who don't watch the show, this is Janet:

On a side note, has anyone read any of his (Jonathan Ames) short stories? I'm really tempted too. I also came across this amusing interview. Enjoy!

I was a bit disappointed with this episode. It did not deliver the funny like all the previous episodes have. Oh well. One bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch girl!

It was still very entertaining. I love how anything a little dirty, no matter what it is, it seems so sweet and innocent, never vulgar.

I think it's gotten off to a much stronger start so far this season that it did last season, which only really hit its stride in the last three episodes or so. I'm psyched to see where it goes, and the leads are hilarious as always.
