Anyone up for watching this?

Looks quite interesting.

P.S The trailer is there, it just doesn't come up with an icon.

It's yet another Stephen King story directed by Mick Garris. Everything that man has done looks like shit. It's as if his films are filmed to intentionally look like they were filmed 10 years ago and with a pathetic budget for the time as well. I really don't understand how the guy keeps getting work.

Having said that, I'll probably watch it because I really enjoyed the book.

Looks promising, but so many King adaptations have been irredeemable shite that it's difficult to work up the proper enthusiasm.
Lets hope Garris doesn't shank this one too.

I totally agree with you.

Most Stephen King Adaptions that get the pre-hype, ie. '...from Stephen King, the creator of.......comes a new terror'...etc.etc...are usually worthless pieces of shit, it's usually the quiet ones that turn out to be diamonds, Shawshank and Green Mile had quiet openings without too much pre-hype and they are fantastic films.

On a side not, I'd love to see some more Clive Barker novels made into films (preferably not Directed by Barker himself although Hellraiser was good for it's time). Weaveworld springs to mind.

The movie came and went and I couldn't even bother to DVR it. I just couldn't do it. Good luck if you can!

I don't know, man. There's some paint somewhere that needs to be watched as it dries, and I'm still trying to finish reading the Thesaurus (still haven't made it out of the B's yet and there's not really a lot of action yet.... but I'm hopeful).

Kinda like most King books the last 20 years.

I watched it... I didn't die. It was alright I guess. You aren't missing anything if you don't watch it. The book was much better and I haven't read it since the 90s.
