I loved this book and am tentatively enjoying the series so far (1 episode in). I say "tentatively" because it's a Stephen King adaptation and there's only two things that you can do with a King adaptation - 1. Fix the ending from the book or 2. Fuck it up.

They've changed some locations and taken some things out of order so far. But I like the overall feel of it so far.

this book is one of the minority of King books whose ending doesn't need fixin'. it's fine the way it is.

i'll be seeing this whenever it comes to blu-ray. because fuck Hulu.

Agreed. I just hope that we get to see a Takuro Spirit!

Oh, and fuck Hulu. I'm totally cheating and I don't care.

I didn't read the book so I'm going into this cold. So far so good. James Franco is often a hit/miss for me but he's proving to be a great character in this miniseries.

After finally watching the end, I didn't mind the bittersweet ending (which was a little obvious). It left me with a pleasant feeling.

The moved really well, I don't have a clue how much attention to detail there was in the show but it was certainly entertaining.

Deadline:
J.J. Abrams & Bridget Carpenter On '11.22.63': “It's The Ultimate What If”
When Stephen King first approached J.J. Abrams to adapt his novel 11/22/63 for the screen, King had a film in mind. Abrams had other ideas.
