Gary Oldman - Dracula (IMHO)

Reminded me of another great role of his:

If you're born to play someone then the character has to already be in existance, surely?....a lot of what people are saying isnt really applicable to the topic, sure there are great actors with great roles but thats not whats being asked of us, stay on target......stay on target

I mean in the sense like born to be a king, its has to happen, saying Harrison ford for Indy jones isnt right, he wasnt born to play indy jones cos the character didnt exist before him. Now Ron Pearlman playing hellboy would be a fitting statement...........or am i just being a bit padantic and a tad silly?

Some great answers here - have to chime in and agreee with JL about Brother Justin - that guy creeps me the fuck out - especially when he's eyeing up his own sister! Classy guy, although I think he IS fucking magnificent as The Kurgan AND Brother Justin - don't forget Sergeant Zim you fuckheads!!

Good one.

Also, Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi in Ed Wood. I've obviously never met Bela Lugosi in person (Dino, did you?), but if I went back in time to meet the man and he wasn't exactly as Landau portrayed him, I'd be so disappointed. I can't think of an old Lugosi without thinking of Landau playing him.
