I smell an insurance scam... not from artiste Nick Park, but from the producers of the movie. Greedy bastards!

Nick Park is absoloutely right when he says it's not a tragedy comparitively, but it's still a horrible thought, all those models and sets, all the years of work that hundreds of people put into it... now they only exist on film...

Police release footage of 'person of interest' in the case, taken by a security cam...

I heard Morph sold recently on Ebay. I was saving my money in case Chaz turned up, which I guess this puts paid to. Much cooler than Morph. Now they can scrap it out in Hell until Tony Hart turns up to keep the peace. And possibly bum them.

If Tony Hart and a well knotted kravat can't do it, no one can.

It's weird, I'm sure many of you Brits will have grown up with Morph just like me - I used to love <i>Hart Beat</i>, or whatever it was called. Then I didn't think about it again from the ages of about 10 to 24. Then I saw that "<i>100 greatest Kids' TV shows</i>" -and realised that Tony Hart is possibly the campest man I've ever seen. And what's more, in <i>The Gallery</i> section, they used to use <i>The fricking Deer Hunter</i> music - how sinister is that??!??

Tony, Why does your Heart-beat when you baby kisses me!?

Come on you all know the song!! Sing it with me!

I used to love me some Moschops and Portland Bill when I was younger, and I can't think about Bagpuss without crying these days. Finger Bobs, and GP Guinea Pig. Chorlte and the Wheelies, or was it the other one that was on at the time, used to scare the shit outta me. The one that had that scary Witch and the rats in it.

What was that one?

Oh and trust me, this fire and the opening of the new Movie. Coincidence. Pure coincidence. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes getting together JUST as their movies were coming out was coincidence too.

That's a class man.

This is horrible news, but you know Aardman will go on.
They will rebuild.
They have the technology.

If I'm not mistaken, they're working on one starring... ahem... Jim Carrey.

That's really shitty news.

It's gotta be heartbreaking for the aardman guys. Atleast the creations will live on as they've been captured in films, but still...to lose that history would feel like a kick in the gut.

Odd timing, with the film doing so well and getting such great reviews.

Were any lives lost? No? Well its just a bunch of stuff. Insurance will cover that. I am glad that none of the creative team was killed because now we can see them go forth and do great and wondrous things.

insurance cant really cover artwork, designs, props, sets etc.

They've all served their purpose but it's still a tragedy to lose all that stuff.

NO WAY THAT THIS AND THE MOVIE OPENING IS A COINCIDENCE!!!!!!

WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE!!!!!

Oh, and Keira Knightley has a larger chin and jawline than Ben Affleck. Discuss this too. I mean it, take a good look at her next time.
