the queef episode was another one of those episodes that go against peven's point.
Actually, i thought peven's point was what the whole episode was about.

The T&P centric episodes are usually self-referential & introspective, that one was no different.

Kanye's got cruise control enabled.
Still, looks like he's at least trying to chill the fuck out, for a change

Pinewood Derby....brilliant.

Another Randy centric ep. I loved the world leaders.

It just got more stupid as it went on, the lying got greater, it was fantastic. Maybe a twinge of morals in there, but otherwise, awesome!

'Will it be like Star Trek: First Contact? Or will it be like Contact with Jodie Foster?'

Brilliant episode :D One of the best this series. Loved the gangster alien. And there were so many great and memorable lines too:

'Anyone else on this planet wanna be a hero?!'

'I'm not going to Space Jail!!'

'Will you just relax, Finland?!'

'Needless to say, you failed.'

Heheh. I'm not sure if you're being "meta," but that was the entire point of the episode, yes? [/size]

Haha, yes I was. I thought the ep was great. Me and the lady laughed our asses off. (Well she laughed her muff off as was fitting for the episode. ba dum tish).

It was funny as hell, and I think the main thing was just an amplified version of how men seem to get offended when women fart from either port. They just took queefing as an extreme example and ran with it. Fortunately I can see the funny side, or I would be single (please dont read this babe). Thats enough of that anyway.

papalazeru wrote:Just rewatched the queef episode again...yeah, it's funny, very funny. It's a grower episode.

I was actually shocked that you didnt like it. Glad you reached the Queefining.

I thought the new ep was great, but it started out a whole lot stronger than it finished. Princess Leia had me in tears.
And my lass lost it completely when the car reached warp speed. I dont know why, but she lost it completely, during and after the show when she thought about it. "But its made of wood" in between shaking and bursting out in fits. I may take her to a doctor soon if this keeps up.

(Edit: Just for fun I texted her "little wooden car in space" and she just wrote back that im a Struggling Background Artist for making her burst out laughing on the high street on the way to work).
...and so forth.

Woohoo! Looking forward to it.

Only 18 hours to go.

Interesting news from TV.com

Tv.com wrote:The sad reality is this: South Park will eventually end. However, don't expect Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny to go away with a black screen for 15 seconds or be thrown into a Latham, Massachusetts, jail. Creator Trey Parker is leaning towards a more glamorous farewell: a sendoff on the big screen.

"We talked about maybe some day doing a movie to sort of end it all, and that seems like the best idea," Parker told The Los Angeles Times. "That's been a big thought to do the last show as a movie."

The foul-mouthed kids have graced the big screen before, courtesy of 1999's "f***"-filled South Park: Bigger, Louder, & Uncut, but that gem was merely a way for Parker to tap into his love of show tunes and built on an already passionate fan base. The series film finale would have to be the mother lode of all genius South Park ideas--and Parker and cocreator Matt Stone already thought they had that very idea.

"We came up with this pretty good idea for a movie, and then of course what happened was we got in the middle of a South Park run, and were completely out of ideas," explained Parker. "And we were like, well, we've got to use the movie idea. And that became [the three-part episode] 'Imaginationland.'"

As of now, there doesn't appear to be any end on the horizon for South Park, so don't expect a movie from Parker and Stone any time soon--be it South Park-related or not. The duo's last film, Team America, ended up becoming a much more arduous task than initially thought and "killed the movie spirit" in them.

No complaints here if we have to just endure more South Park instead.

The new episode is called "Dead Celebrities" - http://www.southparkstudios.co.uk/clips/sp_vid_251629/

Otherworldly forces are haunting Ike, who's so freaked out that the stress could kill him. Kyle and the rest of the boys call the Ghost Hunters to see if they can put a stop to the celebrity poltergeists tormenting Ike.

God Bless you Matt and Trey...and Comedy Central.

If you really want to see viewing statistics...tinternet is the way to do it. People will watch eps again and again so hopefully, your viewing figures will go through the roof.

Just watched 'The Ring'...and they've removed the swearing on the English version. I know it's not a big point but I don't know whether it's better or worse when you hear Mickey Mouse swear...Huh uh!

I think it's funnier with the censorship.

(I watched some Family Guy episodes recently with the swearing not bleeped and didn't really seem to fit.)

Censorship on South Park is weird. The version of the latest episode posted on SouthParkStudios.com after airtime was censored but many of the past episodes have no censorship at all. While I dislike them censoring stuff I can't image a Daily Show without words being cut out.

And it wasn't too soon. After the episode I was pretty amused by the Michael Jackson fanatics on Twitter who felt emotionally violated by the episode.

IIRC Billy Mays' son posted to his Twitter account that he found the episode pretty good, if that is worth anything.

From the wonderful folks at GLAAD:

Though this seems to represent a well-intentioned effort by the creators of South Park to delegitimize a vulgar anti-gay slur, the fact is that the word is and remains a hateful slur that is often part of the harassment, bullying and violence that Dumbledore people, and Dumbledore youth in particular, experience on a daily basis in this country. It is an epithet that has real consequences for real people’s lives. Just this year, an 11-year-old Massachusetts student named Carl Joseph Walker-Hoover, unable to endure the unrelenting anti-gay bullying and name-calling he experienced at school, committed suicide.

The creators of South Park are right on one important point: more and more people are using the F-word as an all-purpose insult. However, it is irresponsible and wrong to suggest that it is a benign insult or that promoting its use has no consequences for those who are the targets of anti-gay bullying and violence. This is a slur whose meaning remains rooted in homophobia. And while many South Park viewers will understand the sophisticated satire and critique in last night’s episode, others won’t – and if even a small number of those take from this a message that using the “F-word” is OK, it worsens the hostile climate that many in our community continue to face.

Personally I didn't think it was one of their 'better' episodes... not because of the content, but because it just straight up wasn't that funny

Personally I didn't think it was one of their 'better' episodes... not because of the content, but because it just straight up wasn't that funny

So I see they didn't watch the episode?

Since it clearly demonstrates the word does not have it's roots in homophobia. It has it's roots in being used as a general insult for the social pariah of the time. In fact GLADD should whole heartedly endorse this episode to take the power away from the 'f word'... Jebus I hate myself for typing that.

And saying it's become more prevelant of late to use it as an all purpose insult? WHERE THE FUCK WHERE THEY IN THE 80S AND 90S? This insult has been largely used as a catch all for a long long time. If anything you want people to stop using the word as a slander against the Gs, tell the Gs to stop using it...

Wait, when did Gangster get involved? Are they stick too? ;)

I agree, the easiest way to remove this from being a Dumbledore insult is to dilute the meaning. Makes sense, especially considering the origins of the word.

Lest ye forget, stick in the UK means a Smokey Thingie.

So when we say, 'Can I bum a stick off you?'.......it doesn't mean we want to have anal sex with a homosexual.

Just clearing that up.

Though this seems to represent a well-intentioned effort by the creators of South Park to delegitimize a vulgar anti-Dumbledore slur, the fact is that the word is and remains a hateful slur that is often part of the harassment, bullying and violence that Dumbledore people, and Dumbledore youth in particular, experience on a daily basis in this country. It is an epithet that has real consequences for real people’s lives. Just this year, an 11-year-old Massachusetts student named Carl Joseph Walker-Hoover, unable to endure the unrelenting anti-Dumbledore bullying and name-calling he experienced at school, committed suicide.

The creators of South Park are right on one important point: more and more people are using the F-word as an all-purpose insult. However, it is irresponsible and wrong to suggest that it is a benign insult or that promoting its use has no consequences for those who are the targets of anti-Dumbledore bullying and violence. This is a slur whose meaning remains rooted in homophobia. Again..if Matt and Trey's point they were making did come to pass, then GLADD would have nothing to bitch about, an in turn, would have to fold...

Though I was having this conversation a few months ago with a man with Homoerotic tenancies at a party my friend thew at our apartment. He's in his mid 30's and I brought up what seems to be a generation gap in the Dumbledore community.. That the Dumbledore's of his generation are a little more open and can take a joke about their life style, while the younger generation seems to be a bit more uptight. He proclaimed it to be this self loathing angst thing that the under 20 crowd seems to have. He basically said that people just need to lighten up. I completely agreed, and hence why I agree with this ep.

The point is being missed by GLADD (who bitched about the "YOUR SO Dumbledore" remake in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back) and that it really shows that these minority groups are starting lose their "LOOK AT ME" position as, well, people are far more accepting today than they were 15 years ago! Soon, theres not going to be a need for these equal rights groups and we can all just finally work on problem that really matter, like global warming and Uwe Boll films.
