I wasn't very impressed. But if it's half as good as the original, I'll be ecstatic.

yeah there are alot of bastard siblings of actual famous Celebrities in there, but alas no Eric Roberts. So is this new cartoon version a sequel or a rehash? I can't read Japanese

from what I gathered over at Twitch (scroll down 'bout 4/5ths of the page) it's a rehash...of a rehash, according to a user comment.

In this case, I would like a sequel.It seems Japan has pussified a bit over the years and I don't think they can top the original. They just released a new Guyver series, which is supposed to finish the incomplete series. I really want to see how it turns out, but from what I've seen so far it won't be nearly as brutal as the classic.
