Funniest Review Title Ever (The Ant Bully -- SPOILERS!)

Postby ONeillSG1 on Tue Jul 25, 2006 11:08 pm

"Massawyrm Says THE ANT BULLY Is Like The Communist Manifesto For Kids!!"

My god, I think that is the funniest comment for an animated film I've seen in a long while.

And from what I've seen about the film, it looks like a Communist Bomb waiting to go off.

Here is Massawyrm's funny review:

I didn't see a thread for this film so I thought I put one up.

That is a funny review! The Wyrm nailed that one.

I predict a bleak future domestically for Ant Bully. We're talkin' Valiant or Doogal type numbers. At least Barnyard will be opening right behind it to deflect some of heat.

Agreed Buster..this does look like a watered down pile of political crap trying to "conform" the kids...LOL To be sure that Barnyard looks way more entertaining, as the trailors have kept me giggling for a while now, if for no more than mindless fun.

Well shit, the film sounds much more socialist in it's subtext, I mean basically "all work together to help each other" rather than communist "production is up 150% disagree with me and be shot!". If you can have Narnia about Christianity, why not this?

Why not indeed.

And it's geared towards kids so a NEW GENERATION of commies can be harvested in 20 years or so.

Nice!

Hahaha, yeh the film is going to create sleeper agents out of all the under 10's. The USSR was just pretending to be all broken up, they've been playing the looooong game. Cue the Moscow Parade turning into tanks and troop marches and Roman Abramovich buying up all the best footballers in the world t make a SuperSoviet XI!!!!

Fuck Honey, I Shrunk the Antz. I can't believe our tax dollars are going toward this kind of nonsense.

Positive message my ass. Every human knows we're not supposed to work together. We're supposed to shit all over each other. It's in the Bible.

So you've seen the new series of That's So Raven too? I have to say, it took a while for me to get used to those changes, but seeing Raven and Chelsea break out into L'internationale made it all worth it!

Communistic children's film + voice of Bruce Campbell = must-see

*(without paying though; don't want to support this kind of shit)
