If this were a live action film with Statham dressed in a gnome costume, I would be there openning night. But just his voice to some CGI?

Emily Blunt needs to get a better agent. Remember when she burst onto the scene in MY SUMMER OF LOVE? That's getting to be awhile ago.

This doesn't look terrible, and I'm sure the kids will have a good time. But I'll probably skip it.

It is slightly puzzling to consider that someone somewhere thought "We need to make an animated adaptation of a William Shakespeare work...but with gnomes."

...then pitched it to a studio and got it made.

Maybe there's a chance to get my singular vision of "Planet of the Apes meets Cheers" produced after all.

It's weird, studios are always looking for a "classic with a new twist" rathern than originals.

Find a mailman uniform big enough to go over a gorilla costume and we'll talk.

why the shock and outrage? Shakespeare's works have been riffed on so many times that it would be one of the largest threads here were we to list them all and discuss....
