I'm not sure how much attention this thread is going to get, but I just wanted to say that I am super-pumped for this movie. It's at 100% over on Rotten Tomatoes.

You think this would be a good movie for a 9 year old girl? I can't quite figure out if its a little more mature than that...

wow 41/41 on RT. Impressive.

SS, i think my brother is taking my niece this weekend (she's 8). He's relatively liberal about what he lets her see, but if you aren't planning on going this weekend I can ask him what he thought about the maturity level and report back.

Pete Docter (the director) said he made this movie to help him understand his own daughter who's about the same age. I'm not sure if that makes it awkward to see with one of your own, but hey.

Thanks Moo. I wasn't going to do it this weekend anyway, maybe catch it the following weekend.

A brief write up on the movie and how the creators did it (not technically did it, how they wrote and approached the subject matter

My niece had the flu so Inside Out has been temporarily postponed. If she's feeling better they'll go this week (and I may join if i can) and I'll report back

On my way out of the theater, there was a family (man, woman, three little girls) excitedly having a conversation about what their earliest memories were, what their favorite memories were, happy, sad, disgusted, etc. It was unbelievably adorable.
