Just watched the new clip. I liked the energy and action of it, it had a very comic book type feel to it. Although the Hulk still looks very CGI'd. He has too many shades of color or something. His skin should be one color. That would help I think.

In the draft script I have, Blonsky says after his first meet with Hulk that it was green ... or gray ... grayish-green. I think that's what they're trying for, which is a nod to the gray Hulk, but it doesn't make a lot of sense since there was no gray Hulk in the movie timeline that we know of.

They should just make him gray then. Not this greenish gray because I think it sort of brings the CGI look out more. Hes not supposed to look like a jewel with 12 diff shades of color.

I agree. There needs to be some mild range of tones, but he's six shades of green in these clips.

Ya know what it reminds me of. When you look at the bottom of the ocean or pond on a sunny day and theres all these shadows and shades of colors mixed together. Its distracting to the eye. They need to flatten the color to one shade so the Hulk looks more 3 dimensional.

Anybody read Moriarty's bit about visiting the editing room for TIC?

I have to admit, his comments got me a little psyched for this movie. :D

I agree, TIH looks pretty cool. I am not totally jazzed about the total CGI look, but on the other hand, I don't know how else the Hulk could be done effectively. I will definetly fork over some cash to check this out.

Seriously, everything looks great. The Hulk looks like a freakin animal the way he trembles when he gets really pissed, but I'm afraid I must impose a "Hulk preview clip" embargo on myself from now until opening day.

Harry's review is up on the main page. It really isn't very descriptive at all, but I think he liked it.

My non-excitement for this movie has done a complete 180 in the last few weeks.

I kind of wish the Spider-Man movies had made more of an effort to establish the universe as well, going off of what Harry wrote. But we can still thank the Spider-Man movies for showing us that superhero movies can be done well.

I like this as long as they keep the X-Men and their universe separate. The Avengers all together would work but throwing the whole mutants thing in there will really muddy everything up.

It would be great if they could reference more characters tho wouldnt it? I'd love to hear Tony Stark, Nick Fury or David/Bruce Banner mention Spider Man, The X-Men or The Fantastic Four.

Every bit as good as Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk takes the material we all love, gets at the heart of what makes it tick and then puts it on the screen FOR ADULTS. It’s dark. It’s heavy. And the bad guys aren’t playing around. With the formation of Marvel Studios, they took their two most damaged, deeply scarred heroes, handed them over to two hip, up-and-coming directors just on the verge of completely proving themselves, and hired two of the best actors of their generation to tackle the roles. The results are nothing short of geek bliss

next week can`t come soon enough.

This is something that is slowwwwwly bugging me.

Why the fuck do all of these adaptations have to be aimed at ADULTS? I realize that the people who grew up on alot of this stuff are.. GROWN UP now, but alot of this material is or was aimed at kids at one point.

Yeah, makes for good movies and stories, but, really.. everything has to be fucking "dark" and "adult"

Dont know.. just a thing though... Its not bad now, but if I see a fucking POWER PACK movie where the kids were abused and molested, and took out their revenge before they fought crime.. Im gonna be pissed!

I seem to recall Power Pack dealing with many mature themes, including sexual abuse and worse.

I'd be pissed if a Power Pack movie didn't deal with that sort of subject matter.

For me the worst of the fights is the slow motion, they're keep on trying to make some transcendental moments of hulk smashing things....well,fights are funny and great if they take the real time of the action instead of trying to find some transcendence on it

My dad enters every single news paper and radio contest that gives away free movie passes...
Once he wins, and he can't enter again, he'll enter his wife's name...or my name...
He wins quite a bit in the end...

But yes, I actually just got back from picking up the tickets...
I decided to not go in the pouring rain the other day...but don't worry, it was pouring just as hard today, so that worked out well.

It starts at 7, I'm heading there for about 6, and I'm pumped for it...

I might even let you guys know what I think after...

Depends how the reach-around is...

I think Norton is better cast as Banner than Eric was (star power and talent-wise). Norton's portrayal in Painted Veil (which was a bit of a lame movie) actually reminded me a bit of Banner.

American Gladiators is promoting the living hell out of this movie tonight. They even have Titan in green body paint. And after hearing HELLGA talk for the first time, I'm pretty sure that she was a man at some point in her life.

From the mainpage, Louis, Liv and Ed Norton interview eachother for Moviefone's Unscripted.

It's a gimmicky format, but somehow it really works here. They seen to have great chemistry going between them, I think.

Hope this bodes well for the film...
