How is the first single? I can't listen at work.

You can hear it if you go to their website.

It's good. The production quality of their music just gets better and better with every release.

I'm really stoked to read the novel.

Very cool video.

But man, I just can't get into that song at all. I would classify myself as a moderate C&C (not the Music Factory) fan to date, but The Broken just sounds like a mess to me.

Have you listened to the other new tune, yet?

Not yet! And I definitely will. Plenty of times with other bands I haven't been a big fan of the first single but have loved the rest of the album. I hope that's the case here as well.

I don't really mind the single or the other new tune. Both have moments I like, but it just doesn't have the awesomeness of early Coheed. My expectations for the album are not very high, currently.

This is the prequel. It takes place before Second Stage Turbine Blade.

It is also the last installment of The Armory Wars, which has bee the story they have told since the beginning.

Album leaked.

I pre-ordered my copy. I didn't get the novel, though. But it was co-written by Peter David, so I may pick it up eventually.

I think it is quite amazing, that after 3 years, my thread had some life in it again.

The new album is amazing. I received it Monday, as well as the novel and the DVD, and the black card.

I am seeing them in exactly one week, with Circa Survive, who has an amazing new album out as well.

I just wanted to say that Coheed & Cambria's latest two albums, The Afterman: Ascension and The Afterman: Descension are good and I like to listen to them very much a lot yes thank you.
No epics, but fucking great songs.
