SHAME ON YOU! Music you like but shouldn't.

Oh and the whole of Graceland too.

Hey! Graceland is about 50% great, 30% okay and only 20% crap. Now, if you were talking about Songs from "The Capeman", that would be a different thing entirely. I'll go easy on Rhythm of the Saints because it has "Born at the Right Time" and "The Obvious Child," the video for which introduced me to capoeira.

If I only could, I'd make a deal with Flumm ...

Styx, Kilroy was Here. Game over.

Oh that's solid alright...but if you wanted to shut everyone down, you really needed to make with the 'Paradise Theater' confession...

Or at least toss in a note about how you crank the windows down and the tunes up whenever Kansas' 'Carry On My Wayward Son' hits the airwaves.

Or any Boston reference could've cleared the bases in the ninth too...

Don't Diss The Bush! (Kate, that it).
She's a true original, the forerunner of Bjork, PJ Harvey, Stina Nordenstam, Madonna etc. And her new LP, the first for 12 years, is as barmy as you'd expect, including a song about a washing machine.

Like Hall & Oats (except for Maneater)

I find myself really liking Kelly Clarkson.

I know.... Perhaps its not the music but the music video in my head that I like. And now, after I escaped having to listen to them constantly in England, Tony "bloody" Wilson had to pull me back in!

Yeah at the end of the day, they're all f*cking brilliant W*nk material, let's face it. I'd shag all of them, though the likes of Cheryl Tweedy wouldn't let me get anywhere near them.

She's probably my favourite. You're exactly right about her eyes. She's very sweet and also exotic, and has loads more depth than the rest, she has real love in her eyes. The others just have cum in theirs.

Then I'd kick them out. Her, I'd like to stay - she cane even throw chairs at ME! Though she's far too classy for that.

I'd still love to knock one out over Tweedy's tits though.

Just to end the threadjack I also enjoy the music of the BeeGee's, you know, their earlier funnier stuff. Pre-Clive Anderson dissin.

You are welcome to the Scouser VB.

and back on topic...girl groups.

no, not the lovely kittens and others mentioned already.

"bands" like L'Trimm ("Cars that go Boom", years ahead of their time) and Fannypack (L'Trimm's successors, "Cameltoe" and the great part-ay starter "Smack it Up"). Sure they don't make their own tunes, yeah, it's practically child molestation even likin' them in that way (but they're legal, I checked!) but infectious, fun and full of life is never a bad thing.

{Beams with Pride}

No longer shall I remain embarrassed for I shalll PROUDLY walk with my head held high, cavorting like a "middle school pre-slut" as I karoake to the world my love for Fannypack.

Really, their first album, "So Stylistic", is a fuckin' masterpiece. The follow up, "See You Next Tuesday" has it's moments as well.
