What Record I Lost My Virginity To

Sigur Ros is the greatest living band. Discuss.

Oh man - talk about repressed memories :-p

I lost my virginity listening to Pearl Jam's "Ten" . . . hehe, just remembered that I started giggling when Deep came on . . . hehehe

Now I have this nightmarish image of young John-Locke trying ever so vainly to copulate whilst the Macarena is playing. "Must focus on girl, must not attempt to dance at same...oh, blast it."

TW/VB/Lugz/Kirk, any clue what the big summer anthems were that year?

See kids, don't smoke dope, it destroys your memory.

Born Slippy was that summer - I remember cries of "lager, lager, lager" ringing around the Phoenix festival - man, I can't even remember what part of the country that was in. Professional Widow too - great tune.

Ash' 1977 album came out. Girl From Mars was a pretty big hit, not the best song, those memories from that summer mean as time passes I love it a little bit more whenever I hear it.
Oasis and Blur were also having the big "who can get number 1" scrap that year as well. Wonderwall is still a fantastic song.
Elitism is positing that your taste is equivalent to quality, you hate "Hamlet" does it make it "bad"? If you think so, you're one elite motherfucker.

no music for me the first time!
no music except for the discreet musique of youthful passion.

later on, when scene setting / mood setting became more
important, Peter Gabriels Passion was often listened to...
and the Rhythm Devils Apocalypse Now Sessions... and Foetus /
Steroid Maximus... anything with lots of percussion and
raw, passionate abandon; pulsating boom a boom boom...

I lost my virginity to Cowboy Bebop. HAHAHAHA GOD I'm a nerd. She totally wasn't digging the stylish animation to hip happening music, and then there was an awkward moment. 2 minutes later, I was a man. I totally let her down. She was all convinced that due to my latin blood that I would be a stud. Jokes on her. I think it was the shrooms episode.

You see, my girl cleans herself down there. Regularly, and she doesn't trim, either. No TP or anything nasty when I go in.

Personally, I'm an atheist in the voting booth and a theist in the movie theatre. I separate the morality of religion with the spirituality and solace of it. There is something boring about atheism.

Am I the only guy on this board who likes a natural? I saw some Bettie Page pics some time back and she was sporting a full load of hair. It can be very sexy.

I'm with ya, Dennis. I like a little natural, but not too crazy. Trimmed, not wild. But shaved all the way...eh, kinda makes me feel like a pedophile.

As much as I despise gloating people who have things like a "blowjob" playlist on their mp3 player, I think I might have to create one to shag along with. Been caught out a few times recently by 'shuffle' mode throwing up some mood-killers: Hulk Hogan's 'Real American', the Party Boy music from Jackass, Peter Cook shouting the word "gentleman" and despite what I said in the "sexiest songs" thread, 'Gertcha' by Chas and Dave put me right off my stroke. There's nothing sexier than fiddling with a gadget when you're fiddling with a vadget, I say. Heheh, I left the weekly Guardian Unlimited football podcast playing recently though. Bloody good listen.

edit: not that recently. I still haven't found any English speaking chicks in this goddamn country. It's like being somewhere foreign or something. Selfish bitches.

Me too! Just substitute "raising fists' with 'climb into shower', and 'triumphant roar' with 'with my clothes on, crying'.

Sex is awesome.

Does Kirk have any validity here on this thread?
It is...after all...Kirk and everyone who actually knows him knows that he hasn't got laid since the court injunction in 1997.

And that guy never repealled his testimony because he still swears he saw everything but never felt a thing.
