Whoa Whoa Whoa...

WHAT?!?

OK, We knew Roger Waters was headlining on the 1st...

Are you telling me this is now a FLOYD REUNION?

Where are you getting this information, sleepflower? Or did you just mean to say that for all intents and purposes, Roger Waters IS Pink Floyd?

(*still twitching....*)

Right. Carry on.

I'm considering one of the RW shows stateside...but tickets are pretty salty...and did you see him at Live 8? He looked...sick. As in "not well." So I'm not positive about the investment.

It is Roger Waters doing Dark Side, though...

Oh, I left my travel agent on hold. 'Scuze me while I hang up on him.

Well I already have tickets. There will be loads of other bands on all day. Worth going to. I sadly missed ost of live 8, was at work.

Dark side will be an event in itself.

More than welcome to have a place to stay if you venture to good old blighty

Roger Waters concerts have never sounded that great to me. His vocals don't usually sound like they're up to much, unless it's a song written for his voice.

the set that Floyd played for Live 8 was every bit as good as i hoped it would be. too bad they didn't decide to use that performance to kick off a reunion tour, since they were obviously the highlight of that concert and the fans, including a bunch of clebrities who professed they were there just to see Floyd, were blown away by them. i got to see them back in '87 in the 55,000 seat Carrier Dome in Syracuse, and they blew the place away. that same yr Waters was doing his own tour to arenas of several thousand to around ten thousand seats, and i read he put on a pretty good show, but never got to see him.

Has anyone got any advise? Im planning on not being too close to the front, as it is a 2 day thing, save all my energy and get up close for the who.

So no one else at the Hyde park for a beer?
