1) You use Caiman U.S.A. too? They're my go-to importers, I've bought tons of stuff from them (mostly very cheap albums). You're right, they can take a while, but I normally order stuff from them right before I go on holiday/away, so that it's sitting there on my doorstep by the time I get home.
2) I love Herrmann too. I'll admit I haven't got any of his stuff on CD, but I'll happily listen to his scores on the DVD menus all day. In fact I think I once fell asleep with the Vertigo score left playing...which explains why I dreamt of dyeing my hair blonde and marrying Jimmy Stewart I guess.

Also, and I know that it's a TV show but it's one of my favourites... BSG Series 2 is currently on my MP3 player. Although some tracks sound a bit cheap and synthesised the overall score is fantastic. Military drums mixed with primal percussion. A truly genius and simple idea that has been created beautifully by Bear McCreary and Richard Gibbs. Well worth a listen. I look forward to season 3's CD, with the Cylon basestars piano tracks.
Just saying....

The basestar music is really good.
The thing I don't like about the BSG music is when it goes unneccessarily gaelic and twee.

The Rocky IV soundtrack is a masterpiece.

Not that one, you idiot.
Rocky. The original. Actually, with the exception of the rap music, the Rocky Balboa soundtrack is cool too.
