What song will you play at your funeral?

Sigur Ros is the greatest living band. Discuss.

That's a really good one. Perfect exit music for a film...perfect exit music for your life.

Norman Greenbaum - Spirit In The Sky - Great choice. If Hunter Thompson can have it played at his, why can't I?

Really?? Damn it. Every time I think I'm being just a little bit original I find someone beat me to the punch.

And Johnny Cash is a definite must. For me though it would be "The Man Comes Around."

ha. funny. on my 'if i should die' document, i have this old hymn listed that i'd like to be played... only i want it all rocked out instead of sung to churchy music. it's called 'Shall We Gather At The River'. it's sorta lame, of course... but i kinda like this part:

Soon we’ll reach the shining river,
Soon our pilgrimage will cease;
Soon our happy hearts will quiver
With the melody of peace.

I also like 'Going To Your Funeral' by the Eels.

Maybe Oasis' "Live Forever" would be a good fit.
"Alright Shaggy - you and Scooby head over that way. The girls and I will go this way."
