Sigur Ros is the greatest living band. Discuss.

'cuz it is.

D'oh!

You is very right kc, Pussy Galore is a cool name for a band.

When I first looked at the thread title, I thought it said Bond Name Hall of Fame, and so, of course, the first name to pop into my head was... then I realized what it really said, felt kinda silly, and thought it would be funny if I pretended I was going through the process of making that mistake while I was posting. I was vaguely aware that there was a band out there with the name Pussy Galore, but I was sorta hoping no one would call me on it.

Holy shit! How could I have forgotten DVDA!

Twisted Steel Leather Donut ranks up there with the greatest song titles ever.

So Bob... I've always wondered... what does DVDA stand for?

There absoloutely needs to be more sentences involving "betwixt".

This has to be one of societies greatest blunders, that such a word could full through the cracks of an unrepentent society vexes me so...

If I had the time or the inclination, I would seriously consider inventing a time machine, specifically for the purpose of traveling backwards though time, ignoring all so called spacetime continium conventions and potential disasters in waiting, that pop culture has been so kind to alert me to, just so I could live in an age in which I could walk around all day, talking to strangers, with nothing but sentences entirely constructed around the word "betwixt" to converse with.

I would hope you would also use the word 'boss' in the descriptive sense a lot as well.

Ex: 'Hello citizens of past Earth, I am your new leader, Flumm, bow to me as you feel need...but first, if someone has some fashion of lever, it appears I have materialized on your plain wedged betwixt this stable and this truly boss horseless carriage.'

becoming a pro musician within spitting distance of San Francisco in the early to mid 1960s, I was in (or opened for) a number of bizarrely named bands, including:
Holy Cow & the Hindus
A Resounding Tinkle
Frumious Bandersnatch
Butterscotch Elephant
The Vejtables
Buckwheat

and of course the famous ones:
Jefferson Airplane
Moby Grape
It's A Beautiful Day
Cold Blood
.
