Greatest Album Covers

Postby St. Alphonzo on Wed Aug 31, 2005 4:03 pm

Time for another music thread! Here's a place to post what you believe to be the most artistic, most amusing, or most bizarre album artwork you've found. Here are two of my favorites:

OMD's "Crush" for its elegance
Image

and Zappa's "Them Or Us" for its randomness

Sweet. All of Queens covers are pretty damn good, but that one is epic.

I'll try to think of anal bum covers later, I'm a little tired right now, but oddly enough, just this morning I was thinking that one of my favorite album title is "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket". I've never even heard the album, but the title cracks me up/

This Wailers cover looks like nothing special, but the reason I picked it is because its a a record cover that opens up making it turn into a big lighter. I always loved that idea.

My wife works part-time in a book store. They had a few novelty books up by checkout and one of them was "100 Worst Album Covers of All-time". I googled the book title and found those two that I posted.
