Got any duct tape and black shoe polish?

Lily Allen is hilarious. She has this adorable, sweet, playful thing going on in her sound and her videos but if you listen to the lyrics she's got a fucking great sense of humor, and she's downright vicious in interviews.

The girl's awesome.

...And yeah, I'd hit that.

I like his documentaries though. Even if they are more about Allen than the subject.

Would she have become famous if her Dad wasn't famous?

I think not, she would have been expelled (which she almost was) instead of being given the extra attention that the teachers gave her to find something she was good at.

I don't know...the last time I checked out something that somebody said was "infectious" I spent a week in Kirk's basement listening to him ramble on about me needing to put the lotiom on my skin, or I'd get some sort of hose again...

??

But the intriguing nature of this 14 year old bewb has my interests "piqued"

She was ok on NMTB, but as far as I'm concerned, the jury's still out on her music (I liked 'LDN' when it first came out, but it starts to grate when it's on the radio 10 times a day for months), but this certainly made her go up in my estimation....

Too fucking right. The editor of NME has been on record saying they tailor their magazine PURELY to what's popular for the kids.

Hmm...

Can I blame them for My Chemical Romance?

Lily Allen writes the happiest sounding songs about old ladies getting stabbed and people smoking pot and fucking girls next door that you will ever hear.

It's all a hell of a lot sharper than the majority of popular music.

So for that, and the fact that she's cute as hell with a wicked sense of humor, we should be happy.

Try listening to Pulp - Ordinary People.... (well not so much for old ladies getting stabbed - but for hilarious yet genius pop music!)

Good luck to her and all that, and I know she's not exactly supposed to appeal to my age group (early 30s), but let's be honest here; her soundbites and "oh, lets-be-controversial-for-the-sake-of-it-so-I-can- be-classed-as-having-attitude" quotes are so transparent in their publicity seeking aspirations that it borders on laughable. She's an OK talent from the little I've heard, but make no mistake: Chrissie Hynde or Sinead O'Connor she ain't. They'd eat the poor little dear for dinner before spitting her out. And that's when they were her age.

Maybe she got delusions of controversy from that champagne socialist comedian father of hers. Who knows?

Lily Allen in third nipple scandal!

It's Sunday, I'm bored - think of it as like reading one of those dodgy British Murdoch-owned papers or the Enquirer.

Haha, that's awesome. Lily Allen is well cute. I wonder if what she said is true: that one in ten people have a third nipple? Does anyone here? We won't make fun of you... Well, I promise I won't... unless it becomes a whole thing like Bob's big hands...

PostPosted: Sun Aug 19, 2007 5:15 am

You know, if it were true that 1/10 people have a third nipple, I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of them are emos concealing the nipple on their forehead via a great big fringe.

The only way to confirm this is to grab an emo next time you're in town, and yank the hair out of his/her face. If they go all aggro on ya, just say you're looking for their third nipple and they'll understand.
