[url=http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_SOh6mSEZss]Whenever Shania Twain sings this song it always reminds me of the way that chicks would talk to me. It feels sooo gooood having Shania sing this right at me. Sooooo dissapointed she doesn't do so in black rubber though.

She does it in Purple....

I have it. He sings in spanish quite a bit on this one. It's probably his best album yet musically.

Unfortunetly the best songs that describe me are Adam Ant's-"Goody Twoshoes" and Kajagoogoos "Too Shy". Except...

I'm not a girl.

Oooo! I get to post This without it being fluff!

Richard Thompson's "Taking My Business Elsewhere."

If she's not here by now
Then I guess she's not coming
If she's not here by now
Then I guess I don't care
Waiter, I won't waste your time anymore
You've already started to
sweep down the floor
I guess she's not coming,
I'll head for the door
I'll be taking my business elsewhere

It wasn't for me
That spark in her eyes
It wasn't for me
That halo in her hair
When she touched me a lump
rose up in my throat
But she must act that way with any old soak
And waiter, you don't seem
to share in the joke
So I'll be taking my business elsewhere

She called me her fantasy
Boldly she kissed me
I'll never get over
The sheer surprise of her
Acting that way
And I'm healing okay
But for the eyes of her

It's cold in the rain
And it's dark and it's sad
And I'll miss her tonight
On my lonely back stair
I'm sorry I took up so much of your space
I'll move down the street to
a friendlier place
'Cos I guess she's not coming and
you're sick of my face
I'll be taking my business elsewhere

Richard Thompson - brilliant songwriter, but not exactly a ray of sunshine. Didn't he once call a compilation album "Doom and Gloom from the Tomb"?

Yes, two fan-club compilations. Sorry to be such a downer; the year so far makes 2006 seem ... not good, but better, certainly. :D Parts of 2007 were far too much like Thompson's song.

I suppose I could have picked Ella Fitzgerald's/Frank Sinatra's "Angel Eyes" instead.

Excuse me while I disappear.

Kommienezuspadt by Tom Waits.

Or rather - I should heed the song's advice some more and don't. But I have the lyrics running through my head on a daily basis. Sigh...

And sometimes- I feel like FNM's The Real Thing.

Who Said? - Hannah Montana

lol... I had to say something dumb...

I think a song that truly sums me up to this point would be

Overprotected - Britney Spears... well, more on the overprotected and get the hell outta the way while I find out who I am, but minus the part about being a girl... seriously.

I fucking love that song!!!!! Every time I hear it I think how well it would have gone with a German Expressionist movie starring Charlie Chaplin running through a giant factory with industrial machinery. So...basically Modern Times. But still.
umm...I don't know that it describes me personally but..yeah.
